I stay here a lot. My son plays basketball at the nearby University. So it’s the only hotel near. With that being said, I would chose this hotel even if it were a little farther away. The staff is friendly and the hotel is well kept.

Stayed here couple weeks ago had to switch rooms. This visit was much better! Shower was small but had a jacuzzi tub in the room and that was awesome! The bed was very comfortable and evening was quiet and I was thrilled with my stay.

We were completely surprised by our room, it was like a mini suite. There was a jacuzzi, a sofa that could have been made into an extra bed. A comfortable arm chair, a mini fridge, a microwave, and a very nice shower. It was more than we expected. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Called ahead of time and was never told a boiler problem. Not coming back …but it’s not the workers I get the feeling it’s upper management. If you have a problem the folks there will do what they can. But I did not blindly book the hotel I booked it after calling . Not coming back

The room was nice, but the breakfast was terrible. There was something wrong with the waffle mix. It had a sour taste, and could not be eaten. Others also had the same experience around us. Additionally, my children wanted cereal m, filled their bowls, but then were told there’s no milk available. Surely this place can do a better job.

Location was convenient. Home was at 43' upon entering. When departing was asked to leave home at 78' and to load non existing dishwasher. Auto emails should be changed based on season and property. Steps were iced over. We had only one fall, luckily. Accomodations for 12, but only 9 towels available and 1 in kitchen. We were told barstools were damaged in previous stay, but were never replaced. Luckily family in the area brought towels, folding table and chairs to accomodate group. The house served its purpose for the short stay.

The hotel was well kept. The room was clean and updated. The breakfast selections were minimal, but we were meeting family for breakfast elsewhere so not concerned.

Property and surrounding area is safe and was fine for an overnight visit to see my kid at GVSU. Check in was easy and quick as was checkout. Room was nice and clean except for dusty in the corners like it needed a deep clean, nothing that was unacceptable. There weren't many other guests during my stay but be aware that if there is someone staying in the room above you, you will hear every move they make. Breakfast was very basic but good for a quick bite. Lots of other food options nearby too. Definitely would stay again. Very convenient to GVSU.

Staff were friendly and helpful when we had a need. Breakfast was average. The waffle maker wasn’t working correctly but my kids kept trying it. Beds were very comfortable and room and property were clean. In walking distance to several restaurants. Pool was cold.

The stay unfortunately was not good. Had to move to a new room and then had issues with the new room but just stuck it out. But I have stayed here before and everything was great. But seemed run down, not the best bed sheets and I had a dirty towel and broken sink and jucuzzi tub didn’t have a plug and the air was not cooling . Little noisy when doors shut but that location was great . The attendant was awesome helping me with everything. Wasn’t the best stay.
