Sonder The Heid

I was very upset with the customer care and service and handling of isssues such as a banging heating ac vent that disturbed a full day and over night time. The door wouldnt lock and had to wait upto 6hours for someone to come look at it losing a good 3-4 days of my vacation being mis informed who to communicate issues with allowing no compensation or room change from the property to rectify anything

Great place to stay and within 10 minutes to public transportation! Rooms smell a little weird though!

Great location, front desk staff was very nice, and the room was comfortable. Full kitchen is a huge benefit. Walked four blocks to grocery store and loaded up for the week. I wish the fitness center was open earlier, but that was about the only "issue" I had.

Pictures do not do Sonder the Heid justice at all. This property is immaculate. We all loved our stay in the clean well decorated rooms.

Great place to stay

Overall comfortable stay. Really spacious and clean room with fully equipped kitchen and utensils. One hiccup was that check in was 2 hours late due to housekeeping delays. This was communicated 15 mins after the original check in time but by then I already had accessed the room and saw that the space was not cleaned. Another issue we encountered was that the extra towels and blankets we requested for the sofa bed never arrived.

Was a really amazing place we had a really great time for my wife birthday she loved all of it

Great cozy place feels like home

The heat didn’t work and at night it got so cold I could see my breathe even after Sonder claimed to had fixed it. On top of that the elevator stopped working and I had to walk up and down 8 flights of stairs. No parking attached to the building but there is a parking lot near by that charges $30 every time you enter.

Cool remodeling of an old industrial building. The one bedroom accommodation had stylish furnishings and a nicely appointed kitchen, laundry, and bath. Unfortunately the location is sketchy. The front desk was frequently unattendedThe staff was unprofessional and indifferent. The walls were paper-thin.

I stayed here for four nights and was completely pleased. The suite was spotless and everything worked very well. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

We stayed for 2 nights and were impressed with our room. It felt very modern chic. It was very quiet and comfy. The room was very clean as well. We used the gym and the rooftop was very nice. It is very close to center city and all things we planned on doing. Would recommend !

Very clean, super spacious, felt like home

The hotel was excellent. The room was well-supplied and comfortable. It was within blocks of the Reading Terminal market, which is great for a quick breakfast and/or for shopping for dinner. As I have grown more comfortable with the neighborhood, free overnight parking can be found on the street - remember, you are in a city, so leave nothing in the car. There's a small park north of the hotel that looks like a nice short walk. The area is growing and I expect many more neighborhood businesses in 2025.

Very convenient for the trade show center. Noise from neighboring units was a small issue but overall this was a very comfy place to stay.

Loved the Sonder. The only issues were minor 1. original door code didn't work - but got a new one via chat on my phone in minutes 2. ductwork made a loud noise when the heat went on and off - but i got used to it after the first night Staff was WONDERFUL - great concierge staff, online support excellent, service staff excellent. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Philadelphia.

I had never stayed at a Sonder before. I needed some help downloading the app etc but after that it worked well. You really need the app!
