Sonder The Louie

Location is terrible. I had 4 guests and 2 towels . Hard to get in the doors . Did not disclose the tv issue about connecting to chromecast and all the construction around the place.. terrible service no one to call and talk to only chat. Which does no good when no one is available after hours

The property was very well decorated with clean and simple ascetics! It is also conveniently located with in walking distance to restaurants and many other attractions. The washer and dryer was a plus to have. We would have enjoyed having a television at least in the master bedroom. Overall we recommend for the price point, convenience, and cleanliness!!

The locations was great! Walkable to most attractions and the ferry. I would have liked a guest book with information on what was needed to do for checking out and instructions on things like where trash needed to be taken. Hopefully we did enough to help house keepers.

Everything was nice, neat and clean.

Cute. Clean. Comfy. One shower head was broken and water pressure was non existent.

The place is very clean, cozy, and convenient.

The fan was broken and no one ever came to fix it. the tv didn't work, again no one ever came the curtains were not closing all the way so all the light was hitting in our faces all night while we were trying to sleep. We called 4 times about this but NO ONE every call or came by. We arrived 2 hours early and we asked if we could check in early. They were quick to respond them and charge us extra for that but where is my reimbursment for the amenities they were lacking. for the basic things that should have been functioning. I didn't get any reimburse or any call about this And when I got their survey and I fist said terrible stay. They close the survey and told me that i would be receiving a follow up email addressing my concerns. Not sure how they would know my concerns when they didn't bother to hear. Well..... its been almost 1 MONTH and I am still waiting for the follow up email.

The location I stayed while has no parking listed… which scared me before booking… was actually very available. The room was spacious and clean, the mobile app support is great. The price is great for what I needed. Only problem in the room was the water pressure of the shower faucet; outside the elevator’s “ding” of the floor is very loud you can hear it in your room Otherwise I really like my stay. This is my first Sonder stay and I’ll definitely put them into consideration for future trips

Water pressure in the bathroom and kitchen sink for the hot water were very low, almost non existant. Bad smell in the hallways. The refrigerator in the kitchen did not work at all during my entire stay. I was told that they would have someone to bring a mini fridge in place of fixing the large refrigerator and they never brought it over. I called several times to have it replaced and after being told they were coming, they never showed up for my entire 5 day stay. I lost groceries and had to spend unexpected money eating out. I want even able to keep leftovers from the expensive restaurants because i had no way of refrigerating them. It was 4 travelers in total and this issue ended up costing us over $1000 in lost groceries and food expenses for breakfast, lunch and dinner for all 5 days, 4 nights. I was offered $300 on day 2 and the promise of the miny fridge that day. When that didn't happen, i called bank on day 3 and was told that the fridge was on the way. By day 4 we had spent more than the $300 offered and asked that they compensate us further. I was told that they would talk to a team member and get back to me which never happened. When i called again on day 5 i was told via text that the $300 was enough and they hope i return to the property in the future so that they can give me a better experience. I am still waiting to speak to someone in management and was told it could take 48 hours before management calls me. Overall, i am unhappy and will never return.

Nice location and spacious apartment. There were a few items around the place that needed fixing. Beds and furniture were somewhat comfortable, but also seemed very worn in. We had some issues getting help with ceiling fans / floor fans while we stayed in super hot New Orleans weather. The kitchen needs actual cooking tools, what they have is very limited.

I booked a 5 BR stay for a bachelorette trip for 7 of us. Our AC broke on the evening of our 2nd day. Was told maintenance would fix by 10am the next morning. Went back and forth with Sonder for HOURS trying to get someone out there. They didn’t come until around 2:30pm. The problem wasn’t fixed and was told they couldn’t do anything about it. No other rooms were available for us to move. It was over 100° in NOLA as we went in August and our unit was around 85° the entire trip. They offered to bring us fans so we waited for that. They brought 1 fan which was just comical considering we had people in 5 separate bedrooms. We also discovered a cockroach in one of the bedrooms which was disgusting and we needed to trap and get rid of it. They came out the next day to spray the unit but we certainly did not need that on top of all the other issues we experienced with our stay.

The location was fine. The room had plenty of space. It worked but could have been a bit better.

We thought the property was great. We liked the space & it was clean. It was in a good location & close to everything. The only complaint we had was that we couldn’t get the chromecast to work & wished there had been tvs in the bedrooms, not just the living room.

Overall was a great place. I didn’t like how the parking garage jacked up prices for Mardi Gras and we was barely there 48 hours. And the walls are very thin you can hear everything. Other than that I love everything inside the apartment would recommend. And needs comfy beds

Pro - Very nice, modern and clean apartment. Most things we need are provided. Great communication. I receive reminder messages and responses are instant. Very helpful service. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and street car. Feel pretty safe. Cons - insulation is not so good. This apartment is on busy st Charles street so we hear all the noises from the street especially early in the morning. The washer and dryer are the combined unit. The rain soaked our clothes and we could not dry our clothes. A complete wash and dry cycle takes 4 hours. Overall we really like staying at Sonder apartment and highly recommend to anyone who is visiting New Orleans and will probably try to stay with Sonder at different locations

The apartment was spacious with beautifully designed interior! Luv'd that the unit had 2 BAs cuz my party was 5 women! This was not a readily available amenity! But the apt lacked convenience necessities- no place to put ur clothing or additional toiletries in bath. This was same in BRs, had 2 put suitcase on bed to unpack it & tight crawl around king-sized bed in BR. The space was otherwise comfortable and accomodating 2 our needs. Ok this is my PET PEEEVE: NO BLENDER IN A PARTY TOWN LIKE NOLA - EPIC FAIL Sonder! All this said I would stay here again and again bcuz of the amy of space & 2 baths & proximity to things!!!

Highly recommend. The staff at the Sonder was very responsive and made it very convenient to communicate through their app. We were able to request additional towels and toiletries through the app that were delivered in a timely manner. I liked how there was a keyless entry. Place was perfect for us as we had our own rooms but a nice kitchen area for everyone to hang out in. Would definitely stay at a Sonder again.

Nice and convenient to Canal and Bourbon. One of the larger places i found to stay with a large group with out needing separate hotel rooms. The full kitchen was nice.
