SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dallas Addison/Quorum Drive

There is no regular taxi service in Addison, Texas and the hotel staff wasn't particularly helpful in this regard either. At other places, staff would let me use their Uber app to get a car and I would then just reimbursement. These folks weren't helpful at all. I had to walk a mile and a half in the freezing cold, on the snow covered ground to get to my meeting.

This was my 3rd time staying at this particular Springhill Suites and I’ve shared feedback (nicely) with the front desk during each stay. Nothing has improved over the last 3 months so my next visit to Addison I’ll be moving on to a different hotel (3 strikes and all that). The positives: the staff is very friendly and the location is great. The negatives: the rooms need so much updating. My bed/mattress each visit has been terrible. Absolutely no life left in the mattress. The mini fridge had ice built up inside and froze everything I put in it overnight. The microwave is so tiny it’s hard to get anything in it. The blow dryer -once again- was disgustingly sticky and dirty. On my last visit I turned it in during checkout and the front desk person was as grossed out as me. But this visit I swear I got the same sticky, dirty blow dryer. And the built in shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty so I washed my hair with body wash. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was “upgraded recently “ resulting in an inability to connect without calling their internet tech support who said they connected my cell numbers directly on the back end but service remained poor. I travel a lot for work and try to be positive and flexible but I’m over this Springhill location. Sorry guys.

The hotel itself is nice and the amenities are well kept. The front desk and the staff were helpful. We did opt to get our room cleaned. The front desk let us know that the cleaning service will be done every other day. My wife and I were fine with that. We stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights. The room never got serviced for a turn down.

Checking in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable

I asked repeatedly to have the exit door adjusted since it only closed when u pulled it tight which took effort. Never addressed

I questioned re: data charge $4.95? I have my own data that runs fast. Moreover, most of the time I’m out of the room. I was told they’re going to remove it. Until now, it is reflected on my account.

The king mattress was very uncomfortable

The stay was fine, some improvements in room amenities can be done like better toiletries and daily housekeeping

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and quiet. It’s a friendly and lively place where some aviation students live, and people stay there to attend different events like sports games or weddings. It’s clean, amazing staff, and the area is beautiful. The layout of the room was very strange and a bit hard to get used to, but the bed was comfortable and everything in the restroom worked perfectly. We’d definitely stay there again.

Carpets look old and feel dirty.

Only stayed overnight night but the room was updated, clean and loved that check out was at Noon.

Short stay. Accomodating staff. Very chill hotel. Big room and exceptionally clean.

Awful experience! It is old, falling apart, bugs and has a stench! The AC bangs and cracks and I felt like someone was going to come in my room at anytime!

Site says Parking available, no mention of a fee. So imagine my surprise when I was told that there was a $10.00 parking fee per day.

The staff was kind and understanding, however, the state of the hotel requires quite some maintenance. Our first room had few things that were not working properly, such as lighting, hot water, water pressure and the phone. We had to use our cell phones to contact the front desk for any issues. I was also surprised to see that the breakfast did not have much healthy options. When you hear of Marriott, you think of upper class. I remember many years ago, they used to have healthy options with spinach, etc. I hope they do take care of all the maintenance, fix the phones and hot water issues, especially on the 5th floor, and offer a breakfast with more healthy options.

Cristelle had such a welcoming smile every time we walked in to the lobby. What a precious young lady, who truly cares about customer service as well as those she works with. Thank you for a great stay.
