This is a great hotel and super easy to get to and from Pitt campus. Breakfast was hot and delish and front desk was extremely friendly. I've stayed here twice now and will continue to do so when I am in town to visit my daughter.

Wasn‘t Crazy about the handicap bathroom. The floor in front of the sink was always wet. Thankfully there were two beds because 1 was so soft my wife and I rolled into the middle like a bowl

The hotel was very nice, clean and well maintained. The rooms were great, the beds were very comfortable. Parking was easy. The only problem is the train! Literally goes by twice and hour and blasts its horn. We did not sleep all night!!!! While I was ready to give the hotel rave reviews, the train ruined it!

If you like trains, noise, dreaming of stowing away in a boxcar and maybe Thomas the Tank Engine, this is the hotel for you! My room was literally 1 foot from the tracks. This is a shame, because otherwise this was a very nice hotel--clean and well appointed and with friendly, helpful staff. It is also so close to a lot of restaurants and a nice area to walk around. So unfortunately I got little to no sleep. And then had to move my son into his dorm room and then drive 5 hours back home.

In Pittsburgh for wedding anniversary. Read reviews about the property & it’s better than the reviews. Newer property, staff friendly, parking right beside the building. Restaurants within 5 minute walk, walking/bike riding path literally off the front step! Yes there is a train track but come on, you are in Pittsburgh & right by the River, it’s part of the experience!!!

4 Day affair of visiting friends and family including an overdue reunion with family from Covid. Hotel conveniently situated on the South Side within walking distance of other family members, family historical landmarks plus some very good restaurants and other shopping.

My room was next to the elevator , 310, so we heard the noise of the elevator all night.. My bill reads `roll-in shower` and it was not. I am 91 years old and this was important. Not a bar in the shower to hold on to. Idid not get fresh towels every day!

Spacious, clean room, comfortable bed, friendly and accommodating staff and easy check in and check out. Breakfast was typical for this hotel and good - a little bit for everyone. There is a train track on the backside of the building and we heard it run through 3 times each night we stayed but if you expect it you learn to tune it out. If you aren’t that type, pack ear plugs.

The room was nice with plenty of space for 4 of us. Easy access from the highway. Overall a good place. ***Be aware a train track is RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOTEL. You will hear the horn right outside your window and the room will vibrate when the train goes by. Not an issue for heavy sleepers but will be a problem for those who are not.
