Great service, clean and updated lobby and rooms. Loved the sweet snack treats and welcome bag presented to us in the lobby when we arrived after a long drive!! Great hot buffet breakfast!

Facilitiy’s computer system was down when I arrived; neither of the available temporary keys worked, and every time I need to enter my room, I needed to have someone from the front desk walk to my room to open it.
It seemed to take forever for hot water to arrive at either my sink or the shower.
Complementary breakfast was very good.

Having the boat marina at your doorstep was nice, unfortunately the weather precluded our walking around. Parking was convenient and the neighborhood very quiet considering we were minutes away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Charleston. Our room killed the whole experience for us. An oversized mini-kitchen/office space overshadowed a tiny cramped bathroom and bedroom, with one bed side placed against the wall such ťhat 2 people had to get in and out of the same side. The floor was bare vinyl, giving the room an eerie hollow echo when talking. Maybe we had an odd room, but the layout was really messed up! Plus we could hear all of the conversations in the hallway. It was a bad night. Not what i expected from Marriott.
