Though it cost us more than we would normally spend on a hotel, it was worth it. Much roomier than other rooms we have had in NYC. Everything we needed was walkable for us. Staff was mostly helpful. Elevator was out of service one day. Otherwise was good.

You had me at the robe! I don’t know why more hotels don’t offer this simple luxury. So glad to have found this property. Great value, perfect location for my itinerary. Service was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. The addition of the wet bar is a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again.

The stay was good. The hotel was definitely good for the price. My only complaint was the bedding situation. It consisted of a mattress fitted sheet thin blanket and the flat sheet on top. I guess a duvet was not an option at their price point. Also the soap/shampoo/conditioner situation was less than user friendly. It was not easy. So I'm not quite sure how older people are able to squeeze the soap out of the dispenser.

Efficient and helpful staff…good location - walking distance to great restaurants for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. An easy walk to Times Square and easy to grab an Uber elsewhere. The property is clean and well maintained albeit a bit older. Our corner room on the 7th floor was surprisingly susceptible to noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms (city sounds are to be expected from outside.) The heat was quite loud too. The room is spacious for NYC with decent bathroom and kitchenette facilities.

The location was convenient for our needs and the room was a good value for what we paid. Smalls things make the hotel look in need of some updates. The curtains were torn from the rod and not repairs or replaced. She shower curtain was torn from the rod and not repaired or replaced. The table lamp shade was bent and stained. The wall outlet for said lamp wasn’t secure and the light would flicker. Just small things that didn’t impact our stay but definitely made the room look outdated and old. Didn’t appreciate the additional $95 charge for “resort fees” that weren’t included as part of what I paid Hotels.com.

The only thing that was disappointing was the we got a room with 2 windows and NO view at all, and room next to elevator, was always noisy , a bit disappointed after travelling 20 hours from overseas !

Close to all the theaters -the friendly staff. It’s nice to go back to the same hotel and see the same staff. Walkable to Times Square and Rockefeller Center-close to subway staion

The hotel room itself was very clean. The furnishings were dated, but that is to be expected of a less expensive hotel in New York City. When opening the bathroom door it was impossible not to hit the toilet. When I initially booked the hotel, I had four people in my party. When I arrived at the hotel, I only had three people in my party. I asked the front desk person if I could get a refund for the fourth person that was not joining us. He said I would have to contact Expedia which I did the next day. Expedia said they would give me 72 hours before they made a decision and they would contact me via email. I never got an email. The Belvedere hotel charged me $22 for their hotel daily fee. I’m not sure what the $22 was for, but I thought they could’ve refunded me the $22 since there was one less person in the room, but they wouldn’t do that because I booked it through Expedia.
