I would have given a five star but our stay didn't start off very well. When we arrived at the airport I phoned the hotel (as they suggested) to let them know that my partner and I were waiting at the shuttle bus pickup point at the airport. I was told that a shuttle would arrive in approximately 30-40mins. Two hours later we were still waiting! We went back to the airport terminal were a very kind lady helped us. To cut a long story short, an uber car was finally sent to pick us up from the airport. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us that the uber driver forget to come and pick us up?! Needless to say our first impressions were not very good. The remainder of our stay was pleasant enough. But unfortunately we won't be staying at the Kenilworth, again.

The deadbolt on the door was hard to lock…. I had to lift up on the door pretty hard to get it to lock. The tv screen is also partially distorted. I meant to tell the front desk receptionist on my way out but it slipped my mind.

I stay here everytime I travel to NJ. Very convenient to Newark airport. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Lots of dining options nearby.

I don’t usually give reviews but staying at Kenilworth hotel was the best thing for me and my family of 6, we had a connecting room and it was amazing. The place was very clean, quiet,safe and the staff were really professional

It’s a pretty decent hotel and a good price too. However, the coffee machine needs to be cleaned. Someone had a tea bag in the water port and refused to remove the teabag. I don’t know how long it’s been sitting there.

The problems started at check-in when they couldn't find the reservation that I had made a month earlier. It took maybe 15 minutes, but someone "found" it. But the request for an accessible room or close to an exit was not honored. We stayed three nights, including Christmas, and got clean towels once. The bed was never made. Yup, there was a small sign on the front desk notifying guests that services might be limited over the holidays. But rather than offer platitudes and apologies, why not offer a small rebate? Y'know, a token of appreciation for dealing with sub-standard ammenities. The hotel didn't pay the full staff during our stay, yet felt comfortable charging customers the full price.

The Kenilworth is an excellent hotel. It’s clean, modern and comfortable. Check-in was fast and friendly. The double we reserved was everything we were looking for. I would stay here repeatedly and recommend it without hesitation. Nice job, Kenilworth.

I was skeptical at first. But my family and I stayed at the hotel for one night. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean.

While I wouldn't categorize this as a "boutique hotel," it does provide a pleasant and comfortable stay. I have visited this hotel at least five or six times, and the cleanliness of the rooms has always been consistent. However, the sofa in my room during this visit appeared to have seen better days. The room included a one-cup coffee maker, which was a convenient amenity. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide bottled water to use with the coffee maker, and there was only one pod of regular coffee and one pod of decaf. The complimentary breakfast offered pre-packaged pastries and granola bars, which were not very appealing. However, they do have a nice coffee bar available. There is also a small area for purchasing soft drinks and snacks. I appreciated the friendly and welcoming attitude of the hotel staff throughout my stay. Overall, this hotel is clean and well-maintained, and I recommend it.
