The Porch on Frances Inn

When I checked in, I discovered that the property was the same one we stayed at 5 years ago under a different name. It was good then, but a tremendous improvement. Jeff did a great job making the rooms aesthetically and functionally comfortable, while maintaining that 19th century charm.

Shower is horrible no water pressure not enough flow. Took forever to get wet and to wash off. We were woken up every morning at 4:00 by Roosters. Good location easy to walk everywhere. Very clean. The Balcony and chairs were comfortable. We had a 2nd floor room. The bed was comfortable. Well maintined

Our stay was wonderful. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and we could walk to wherever we needed to go. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room was utterly charming. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like prettily folded towels, soft music playing on the tv and ample fridge space for snacks and drinks.

I really enjoyed my stay at this cute Inn. Louise made check in and check out a breeze and even provided some great spots to check out. I was in a solo trip and felt safe the entire time and was able to walk to all the fun

It’s bit of a walk to Duval and restaurants and there was no pool. But very quiet and clean. Nice bathroom too.

The Porch was an absolute amazing stay! We loved our stay and hope to be back again! The staff contacted us frequently and helped us set up tours. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Great, quiet spot in Old Town Key West. The owner, Jeff, has been renovated the 1860 house to keep all the old charm, but adding modern comforts. First and foremost, the property manager/ concierge Rider is a true delight!! She is knowledgeable of the town and can help arrange just about anything. She's an asset for your trip. Stop by the office in the morning for a cup of coffee, conversation, and adventure suggestions. Our room was spacious with a good-sized bathroom, Keurig coffee maker, and dorm fridge. The room opened onto the upstairs porch. The view was lovely, with a nice island breeze. There is an expansive porch on the ground floor as well. Both have fans and are suited for "people watching " and socializing. The location is quiet for morning coffee or evening cocktails. It is within walking distance to just about all the attractions (although a bicycle would make it even closer, lol). There is a good French restaurant across the street (Cafe Sole), and the famous 5 Brothers Sandwich Shop is a block away. There are two things to keep in mind when booking. One, there is no smoking on the property inside or outside. The second is that there is no pool. Don't worry though, Rider can steer you to some swimming spots. Overall, it is a great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing island home. I would recommend .

We had a lovely stay at the Porch. Communication was excellent. Rider was great to work with and met us upon arrival to help us find a parking spot. She helped with our bags and took us to our room along with an explanation of how things work. She provided some excellent dining options (Cafe Sole and the Thirsty Mermaid). Our room was quiet and comfortable, and loved our porch. Easy walking distance to Duval and the ferry terminal. Highly recommend as they made us feel welcome.

Wonderful stay! Jeff made sure we got a parking spot right in front of the door at check in. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the walk in shower was great. Rider checked in with us a couple of days ahead of our stay to see if we needed anything and to get us the info we needed for check in. The location was perfect. We never drove once after we arrived. Everything was easily in walking distance. I would recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again if we are back in Key West.
