Super nice! Staff was great! Convenient location

I decided to book a vacation for my family since we recently experienced some hardship and needed a break. Seeing the ratings on Expedia, it didn’t seem too bad. After arriving, I spoke to the front desk and they all seemed so cranky and I do understand what it’s like working with customer service but there’s no way to treat anyone with such a condescending tone. The front desk girl refused to go over what we would be charged for additionally if we were to use their services and skipped straight to just saying that there was a down payment along with additional charge of $300 as a service fee. We walked to the elevators and it had an interesting system that really is inconvenient/annoying. The room was small but we didn’t mind as we just needed a safe space although the cleaning services rarely came and when they did they never replaced the shampoos or conditioners… for multiple days. I spoke to the cleaners and they said they would change it but came back after to see nothing changed. I went to the front desk and spoke to the guy which seemed fairly annoyed that I was asking him for two bottles of soap (don’t know why he would be annoyed when I’m helping him by replacing it for them). He kept sighing. The parking for overnight is $54 per night which is insane. It’s extremely loud, you basically can hear everything from even down the hallway. It’s only pro is that it’s convenient to get to the beach and walk around Waikiki but they seem to treat their customers like garbage.

Love this hotel

Being that it was the first time in Hawaii, this property didn’t disappoint. Staff and management were very professional and responsive to all of our needs. Everyone was pleasant and friendly and we were very comfortable with our accommodations. Highly recommend!

Treated myself to an ocean front room and the view couldn’t be beat. While the room and furniture could use a refresh, it still had everything I needed for a great stay. Bed was super comfortable, air conditioner worked well, and all essentials were there. Front desk staff were very accommodating and efficient. Overall enjoyed what a chilled out hotel experience this was and especially how friendly and helpful people were throughout my stay. Would stay there again for great location at quieter end of Waikiki strip, included beach supplies, and overall great service.

Convenient location, friendly staff, convenient valet parking, good dining option around the property

Twin Fin was a great price for the location. Room was on the small side but very clean. Bonus of free Tommy Bahama chairs and an umbrella every day from shop affiliated with the Twin Fin was an amazing surprise bonus!

Right across from Waikiki beach. Staff were great. The only thing i didnt like was their elevators. It was a tad bit on the slow side.

The property was great. Great location. The only thing we didn't like was the elevator system, and all the vehicles in the lobby for rentals. You had to walk through a maze to get in or out, and really had to watch you didn't get hit. I smoke so when I went out for a smoke at night or early morning,I didn't feel safe. I was actually approached by a homeless person who wanted to come up to my room.

The food , service and staff are excellent at this place but it’s very run down and the rooms are small. I had to switch rooms when I arrived because the patio door got stuck half way open and could not be moved. Overall was a good stay.

View of Diamond Head and beach was exceptional. It was quiet and very comfortable.

We stay here often, for the $$ it’s a great spot in Waikiki! Tikis bar and restaurant are on the property. Pool was just refinished and for Waikiki it’s a good size. Great room, hallways r a lil tired but overall this is a great hotel when staying in Waikiki. Just a street to cross and the beach is right there. Don’t waste ur $$ staying at the older hotels right on the beach they have tiny rooms and r way over priced.

The hotel is no more than a 2 star. The rooms and very tired. Furniture has seen better days. Plugs, some work, some don't. We were stung twice by the hotel's sensors that apparently detect smoke in the rooms. The first time at 5am - when we're asleep and because i raised am objection, we were stung again the very next night. No visit to the room or anything normal like that. They just take the money from your credit card with no warning. And the above is bearing in mind, we're 2 adults and 1 child. So we never smoked in the room. I have taken this up with my Amex Credit Card to dispute the dodgy methodology this guys use. Its an absolute scam. And judging by other comments and reviews on Google, this is rampant at that hotel. Even the staff recognised the very obscure way they do this. The only plus point for this hotel is its location - literally a stone throw away from the beach. And by the way, 2 weeks after my check out and still waiting for my final invoice to be sent by email.

Great stay

The property was on a good spot on the strip. Everything from restaurants to shopping places was in a walking distance. Things I didn’t enjoy much… although it’s a non smoking hotel we lucked out with having someone right next to us that was smoking on the balcony constantly(we did warn the front desk about this problem. The bed was a bit sunken in but it got the job done.

We stayed in an ocean front room, and the view was outstanding. The rooms need attention, our room the toilet flushed on and off. House Keeping never refilled the body wash, decently been well loved and used.

Did not like the size of the room. Didn't like the elevator system, to long of a wait at times Was supposed to have an ocean view only had partial view. Not happy with Expedia review,would not have stayed there if the reviews was correct about the hotel

Your rates were low and all the added fees that the hotel tacked on made it way more expensive than planned for. No breakfast included extra fee. Only valet parking extra fee. Won’t choose to stay there again. Only view was from the terrace balcony it was nice except you have no privacy and share it with neighbors

Family really enjoyed the stay!!! Location, location, location!!!
