it’s in a ghost town

The room and washroom are passable. The insulation and heater didn't seem to work, so it's freezing in the winter. The surrounding area is nice and walkable to the metro.

I hadn't been to this hotel in about four years so I was curious to see what the experience would be. The room was relatively quiet & overall, I was satisfied with my short stay.

Didn’t like the walk to the train station but other than that, we had everything else at our convenience

around the property is dirty, the house keepers really try to keep it clean inside.

The room was clean the first day, on the second day my boyfriend killed a roach in the bathtub. The room temperature was excellent. There is NO Late checkout, no bag storage, No Microwave in the room or kettle for a hot cup of tea. This is an average stay at a $176.00 USD per night.

Horrible customer service

Although the rooms are small, it’s a great location with a quick commute to the city. You also have plenty of food options, friendly staff and place was nice and clean.

It needs more cleaning.

Great spot in many ways. Had trouble getting the shower to work though.

It was an ok hotel. Had to get pillows replaced because of stains but other than that no problems.

We were lucky there were no bedbugs. Room and floor were gross. No bedside tables, very bare bones. They give you hand soap to wash your body and the weakest shampoo I've ever seen. Bed was sad, but could have been less comfortable and the AC worked so it could have been worse, but we'll certainly find something better for a higher price next time --- this wasn't worth it.

Considering this hotel was one of the cheaper options in and around NYC it's not surprising that it wasn't perfect. I will note that it didn't feel as if it had been cleaned well -- there was hair in the tub and food in the refrigerator when I arrived. The bedsheets had some stains. The air conditioning unit was quite loud and made it very difficult to sleep. The area isn't terrible, but certainly not the best neighborhood. Still, the staff was fine and friendly.

I recently stayed at The Voyager Hotel with my wife to celebrate my birthday on June 1, 2023, and I must say it was a truly disappointing experience. We made the mistake of booking the cheapest rate available at the time, and we paid the price for it. From the moment we entered Room 311, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority for the hotel. The walls were filthy and had noticeable patches where the painting had started and abruptly stopped. It was as if the painter had given up halfway through the job. The lack of attention to detail was astounding. But the worst part was the state of the mirrors and windows. It seemed like they had been wiped with a dirty rag, leaving behind streaks and smudges. It was incredibly off-putting to see our own reflections marred by the lack of cleanliness. It made us question the overall hygiene standards of the hotel. As someone who appreciates a clean and comfortable stay, I was deeply disappointed by the condition of the room. It's disheartening to pay for accommodation only to be greeted by such subpar conditions. I understand that we booked the cheapest rate, but cleanliness should not be compromised regardless of the price. I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider staying at The Voyage Hotel. While the price may be tempting, the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail make it an unpleasant experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their standards, as no guest deserves this service.

smells like smoke refridgerator left dirty trash on floor toilet leaking water blow dryer dirty and hair with it towels stained bathroom door broken and real dirty/stained flip light switch super dirty toilet paper holder broken off wall/dirty air conditioner unusable, mode button broken sheets stained with blood/stink cigerette on floor dirty walls and stains on ceiling dirty refridgerator and left over food left in fridge nightstand has hair on it and very dirty dirty stains on corner of bed

I did get to stay in this so called hotel I went there and I was informed that I have to go somewhere else they turned this hotel into a shelter

Nope, just nope! Absolutely bare bones place, sheets had cigarette holes, stains on pillows, some garbage left in cans, no drinking water anywhere at all, no small coffee maker or anything, staff was not at all helpful. For what they charge, it is absurd. Never again.

There was a fight all night long in the room next to mine. I called the front desk twice and a guy came up twice but the fight was never stopped. I couldn’t sleep at all. Worst experience ever.

Hyper minimalist hotel, no bed side table, no alarm clock, no tea/coffee service (these things are in pictures of place). Bath products were a sliver of soap and mini bottle of shampoo. Pillows were small and lumpy, I have a rash on side of face I slept on, probably from the pillows. Still have height of pandemic cleaning policies, not cleaning frequently, garbage was left out by elevator for a day.
