The only reason I did not rate it higher was due to a misleading picture "to me" that looked like a slightly bigger parking lot. It was fine for cars and trucks alone and I was able to jackknife the trailer in a spot but the parking lot pictures appeared to be be bigger than the actual parking lot. Not necessarily a bad review or bad place to stay that close to NY but I was hoping for more parking lot room. Overall stay was satisfactory.

No front desk during check in and checkout

Although it’s a smoke free hotel. They don’t enforce it, as soon as we got in the elevator it seemed horrible. Not to mention we had an issues with car hotel cards not working. Room was ok, but didn’t have enoughtowels or supplies for the 4 days we were to stay. We will not be returning.

Quiet and clean.

Our room was clean, had pots, pans, and utensils. The property was around 15-20 minute walk from the nearest bus stop which was tough. The bathroom was clean and functioning, beds and sheets were nice. Negatives: There is only one front desk staff that does everything so they are not always available. Some days I had to wait long amounts of time for towel exchange and extra dishwasher soap.

I regret staying at this hotel for four nights. Upon arrival at 9:40 PM, we found our booked twin-bed room uncleaned. After a 10-hour drive, being told to wait another 40 minutes for cleaning was infuriating. The staff offered a double-bed room instead, which was unacceptable. We finally got our key at 10:30 PM, but the rushed cleaning left the room in poor condition. Given that check-in starts at 3 PM, this was inexcusable. The room had numerous issues: a broken closet, only two hangers, one spoon, and just two cups and plates for a family of four. The kitchen lacked pots or pans, and the lukewarm shower water was never fixed despite complaints. While the induction cooktop was repaired after the first night, we endured four days of uncomfortable, lukewarm showers. Additionally, there was no hairdryer, and my daughter caught a cold after lukewarm showers without one. The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay despite requests. Towels had to be exchanged at the front desk, and only in the evening. Staff were hard to reach, often unfriendly, and showed no effort to resolve issues. When we raised concerns about the shower and lack of a hairdryer, they refused to offer solutions or compensation. This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had, with a complete lack of basic service or empathy. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The room had a cooking area but no utensils for use. The cooking equipment and utensils needed to be rented from the hotel for use in the room. Towels also were not exchanged through housekeeping, they had to go be exchanged at the front desk. Overall the hotel is good for the price.

Everything was great, accessible location. Just 20 mins to New York and 25 mins to Staten Island. The only small issue it is the company across the street, worked at night so you can hear the noises of heavy machinery and the Amtrak train as passing by. Overall hoghly recommended, will go back on my next tripnto Linden, NJ.

Price is affordable

i have had booked rooms before but this time it was a bad experience . the utilietes were not functional , no facilities in restroom nor in kitchen . definetlity needs a haul.

If I could, I wouldn’t. Upon our arrival, the first receptionist was very nice. The rooms are large. Despite the beds being large , the mattresses are unfortunately horrendous, very soft, making you sink, the beds are also not fixed to the walls, which kept them moving. I consider them to be dangerous if you are planning to stay with small toddlers as they are way too high for comfort. Furthermore, kitchen; It seemed as a good idea when, I booked it because the rooms have kitchen (for saving on eating out) right?, well, the kitchen comes only with two forks, and two knives that barely cut anything, which meant that we had to buy everything to be able to cook anything. Moreover, the floor was so filthy that all our socks turned black, it was not swap or mopped once for out whole stay. Each time we asked for room service it wasn’t available at all, as apparently is only done once a week, for the 8 days that we stayed there, not rooms service was provided for us. We asked on Thursdays and the lady receptionist that was there told us that there was not room service on weekends, which to which, I replied to her that we were on Thursday, she said the next availability would be on Monday. we also had to throw our own rubbish. If we knew, we would have preferred to pay a little bit more extra to stay in a descent place rather than this SH that couldn’t even provide toilet paper If I could rate this place 0 starts I would, but the first receptionist was very kind and sweet.

Great hospitality!

Clean and quiet, with working fridge, stove and dishwasher. Only a walk to tjfridays and dollar tree. Nice reception, make sure you do your towel change after 6pm.
