My visit at woodspring Suites was fantastic and it began from the very minute I walked in the door. I had a wonderful greeting from the desk person Lisa she as was very helpful and knowledgeable in every question I asked about. It was such a pleasant interaction I knew it was going to be a good stay from what I had read prior to getting here from the high marks of the prior reviews.. My room was clean and adequate and quite nice for the very reasonable price I paid. It appears to be one of those places where you're scratching your head and wondering for the price something must be wrong but there was absolutely nothing wrong with my stay,I would do it many many times again.There where no negative surprises. As I read you have to provide everything yourself in the kitchen area.No big deal,maybe that's how they keep their costs down but just across the street and walking distance is a huge chain grocery store .I would like to add to the management team please continue to employ Pleasant people such as Lisa to be the first person your customers see.I can see nothing but good things to become of it. Bravo Woodspring Suites.

According to their website, cleaning of the room will be once a week.
I have NOT had room service for cleaning the room, cleaning the bathroom or the changing the linen.
The hallways and the rugs in the elevator are clean.
The bathroom has a bad smell. I had to keep fan the bathroom turned on

*It took about 40 minutes for my family and I to be checked in.
*Two of the ladies' body language/tone at the front desk needs improving - very rude when responding to questions asked as if theyre annoyed.
*I was never notifed by the front desk that my card was only billed for a week; as a result, I went out and came back on the 7th day only to find out after 3 different visits to the front desk that I had been locked out due to non-payment. The proper procedure upon check-in would be to ask if the customer would like to pay for the entire stay to avoid such occurences.
*Poor ventilation: persons cooking in other rooms can be smelt in my room at all times
*Cleanliness: front desk explained that room cleaning is done on the 7th day; however, my stay was for 10 days and my room was never cleaned. In addition, I had to go the front desk every other day to change towels.

The first room that was viewed was impossible to stay due to very strong smoke smell coming from the room. I was given key to another room to look and that didn’t smell much but was sprayed down to mask the smell. I accepted it since it didn’t smell much like the one before. I brought my wife and she instantly found partially used shampoo and that was all that was in the room. No other shampoo, conditioner, or soap was given. The lady on the front desk said I should ask to get those. Next was stains and there was something that my wife found that looked like blood stain, along with also what looked like poop stains. The toilet bowl had excrement remains that was not cleaned properly. The fridge was not cleaned properly. And I was said I was maybe expecting too much. But come on, I had checked out from a hotel with similar ratings and price and it was a huge difference. I didn’t complain about any others.
And for all this, I had to leave the property midway because my wife was too afraid to go there and we got a Marriot hotel and went and stayed there for the night. And I get $25 for the inconvenience. It’s insane
