Evening staff friendly, pleasant and helpful.
Hotel was looking pretty tired and very basic.
Breakfast was not good, no-one there to greet us, walked in and the chef came out and told us to sit somewhere and someone will be with us soon, 10 minutes later someone finally came out (we were the only people in the whole restaurant)
My son had the pancakes and they appeared to be premade and then warmed in the microwave for way too long as they were rock hard on the edges and unable to cut them.
Bacon was under cooked and orange juice tasted watered down.
Overall very disappointing.

Staff very friendly, can’t fault them. Room very nice and basic. Rooms across car park in separate building. Clean and basic, ok room. Floor in bathroom very squishy and uneven. Heating didn’t work and it was freezing. Lady on reception very kindly offered to come and look at it but we decided not to stay the night, not the hotels fault at all, but bad weather due at home so wanted to travel back before snow fell heavy.

The staff were very polite and very helpful could do enough for us. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was the allergies menu was on the website. As I don’t bring my mobile out with me it took sometime to get the menu up. I don’t know why there isn’t a card with allergy's menu like the standard one.
