This hotel was a great experience. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during our trip and enjoyed the beautiful grounds, spa, and restaurant. Would visit again!

Beautiful property, staff was friendly and accommodating.

Our stay at this exclusive, beautifully appointed historic hotel was wonderful. The location is amazing - just a short 10 minute walk along the waterfront to the old town of Alghero with stunning views across the mediterranean. We had a sea view room with a large balcony and although not huge, the room was elegantly decorated with beautiful pieces of furniture. The pool area is calm and peaceful with stunning views overlooking the sea. There is also private access down some steps to the sea if you fancy a dip. The hotel is very private with access from the road via secure gates only. It is within it's own grounds surrounded by beautiful private gardens where there are lots of areas to sit peacefully. Staff were very accomodating and extremely friendly. Service was excellent with high staff to guest ratio. Nothing too much trouble. On departure day a taxi was ordered for us and as we were leaving slightly before the official start time of breakfast, staff kindly arranged for us to have breakfast a little earlier which was very much appreciated. Silver service breakfast was wonderful and lots of choice. Overall a truly memorable stay and we will certainly be returning.

A very unique boutique hotel retrofitted graciously into a former opulent residence; its located on a private peninsula a 10min walk from alghero centro. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, magical views. Va bene!

One of the most unique and wonderful stays I’ve had. Paula greeted my daughter and I like family and the rest of her team were seamless in assisting us and making us feel welcome. The property is a magical step back in time and the sound of the ocean repaired so many overstretched parts of me.

The hotel is located in a beautiful location, right on the beach with beautiful views of Capo Caccio and the Mediterranean. Our room was spacious with a terrace overlooking the ocean. The villa used to be a retreat for the Italian royalty. As such, ambience is a bit stilted, with staff trying to balance formality with friendliness.

Beautiful property right on the water, with an easy walk into town. Attentive and helpful staff. Good morning breakfast of eggs to order, Italian baked goods, fruit and yogurt.

Lovely place. Service excellent. Room a bit small but bathroom great. Gardens beautiful and spectacular views. Pool was sea water which I don’t like. Spa was €5 each to access which I thought seemed a bit mean on top of the room rate. Breakfast was very good though eggs etc was extra.

Small, friendly hotel with a really intimate feeling - really it was what we hoped it would be and we weren’t disappointed!

Poorly maintained, not comfortable and far overpriced for what you get. It was surprising that they charged us using the spa without informing us first that it was charged additionally. The personnel is very nice and friendly though. Breakfast was very poor and if you are not a dessert lover, you will be stuck with cheese and salami. If you want an omelet, you will be charged additionally. This is something I definitely never experienced in any other 5 star hotel.
