The hotel is well situated from Durham city, about 10-15 minutes drive to either The Riverwalk or Walkergate very central car parks. The family room (3 people) was comfortable, cleaned every day and spacious. The hotel has a great Thai restaurant and pub/bar (food and drinks in both areas, affordable prices). The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Really nice place, food was amazing. Staff friendly. Room ok. Needs a new bed. Not as clean in the bathroom as I would have expected. Stains on the mirror. In saying all that I would stay there again.

Great hotel, we have stayed there several times. Lovely staff, room was great and the food was fabulous, as always. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back next time we visit the area.

Hotel in family ownership and their private garage just up the road was suggested as best place for my motorcycle... very rare to get such nice treatment these days.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was very nice. There is road noise and the bar closes fairly early. We ate in the Thai which was just ok, the breakfast was very good and the 5 items were enough for us. The staff are fantastic

Just right for a 1 night stop

The hotel check in was quick and effortless. Room was large and clean with free WiFi and tea/coffee facilities.

I was checked in by a very lovely lady at reception. Room is very clean and more spacious than I thought - looked in the pictures. Bed is very comfortable too.

Nice clean hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Nice bar, good parking, restaurant was good but not five star. That said prices were not five star for the money it was great and I would stay again.

Hotel is between 2 roads, one is noisy highway. You need a room on the other side. Walls are thin but neighbours were quiet.

Nice enough hotel, was just a stop off after dropping son off at uni. Room clean and tidy loads of parking, room spacious with nice decor.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Everything was clean, everything we needed in our room, tea making, great shower/bath. Beds really comfortable and very quiet and peaceful.
