This is far and away the best value for money in Shropshire. Beautiful setting and amazing host family that goes out of their way to make everything perfect. The breakfast is outstanding too.

I was immediately at ease when arriving. It was by far the best stay we had while visiting the U.K.

Clean spacious room and bathroom. Excellent communication prior to arrival. Safe w/ gated drive. Rural with views of farmland in every direction. Very friendly hostess, Rebecca. Excellent breakfast w/ fresh eggs from on site. Nearby pub for supper. Short drive to Hodnet Hall Gardens. Enjoyed interaction w/ the outdoor, very large cat!

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at the Moorhead B&B. The room and en-suite were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very well presented, cooked to perfection and there was plenty of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and our welcome was warm and friendly. Lovely peaceful farm setting with great views from the windows. Looking forward to the next time.

What a fantastic property. Rebecca was extremely friendly, helpful, altogether amazing. Beautiful room and view. Comfy bed, large bathroom, Nespresso machine, bottled water and jelly beans! The breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs from the chickens, really good selection of cereals, yoghurt etc and a large cafetière of coffee. What more could you ask for. What a gem!

Really pleasant stay. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were made to feel at home straight away. The room was large and comfortable with an absolutely stunning view. We had the full English for breakfast which was really nice. Would strongly recommend!

Rebecca is a superb hostess. Very warm welcome including a pack of tourist info leaflets. Extremely comfortable bed and a very wide choice for breakfast, which was first rate. Convenient location about 2 miles north of Wem and 6 miles south of Whitchurch. A good base for exploring Shropshire. No hesitation in recommending The Moorhead.

Rebecca is the perfect host - warm, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable about the local area. Made a great suggestion for where to eat each evening I was with her. The house is super and lovely gardens in which to wander, too. Super breakfast.

The homemade breakfast was not only flawless but also delectable. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming bed and breakfast and would eagerly revisit should the opportunity arise.

We only stayed for one night to break up a longer journey but we really enjoyed our brief stay. Beautiful countryside location with a few ponies and chickens on site (which the kids loved!). Very warm welcome, spotlessly clean and well presented throughout and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
