We booked the hotel last minute (in May) for our last night on Elba and would definitely come back!
The check-in was uncomplicated and earlier as expected. The rooms are small but have everything you'll need and I liked the small accessoires (mosaic tiles on the bathroom, wall behind the bed painted, small bowl for jewelry).
Location: great! So close to the beach and 500 m from the city centre. We also loved the greenery around the house and the comfy area of bar/breakfast and the outside including a swing chair and hammock. The interior is also nice and reminds me of a hostel including eg a bookshelf.
The breakfast exceeded all of our expectations and was surprisingly un-italian ;) Meaning that they offered a great variety of food, with vegan and gluten-free potions available if ordered before. They make a great cappuccino with oat milk but you could also go with 20 different teas, matcha, chai.. High variety of spreads, nuts & berry's as well as other supplements, cereal, self baked bread (must try, it's so crispy!). Let's not forget the sweets- croissants, bagel's, pancakes..
As others have pointed out, the hotel itself is not the newest but the service, location and breakfast is excellent.
Note, that our balcony door could not be closed (we didn't mind) and I had to kill some huge mosquitos at night - it would be great if you'd add nets at the doors!
See you again!
