Pinang Peranakan Mansion was originally home to a rich Chinese and Malay couple, known as “Baba” and “Nyonya”. In the 19th century, this house was the most magnificent on the island with the use of ceramics from England, high pillars from Scotland and Chinese decorated wooden panels. The mansion is preserved until today, offering visitors a glimpse of the old days in each room.
