This is the longest saltwater pass-through cave in Thailand, with more than 4 kilometres and has a history of a million year. The name of this cave comes from the discovery of an ancient elephant fossil called ‘Stegodon’. Within the cave, you will find beautiful stalagmites and stalactites while kayaking all the way through
A national park of 196 sq. Meters cover lots of forests and mountains. Most of the space is occupied with high and low mountains, containing important sources of water. Also, almost 50 acres of a freshwater lake is located here. Of course, with nature this rich, you will find hundreds of species of wildlife. Another pass-through cave in Satun, but this time it’s just about 600 meters so you can easily sightsee within the cave. This waterfall is located on the boundary between Nakornsrithammarat city and Satun. With a height of 40 meters and 5 levels while the main source of this waterfall is from Hua Ka Ming Mountain. Its richness in nature makes the water fall all year round.
One of the unseen attractions in Satun that requires you to move and travel a bit. Starting from boarding a boat from the mainland and hopping on a kayak in the middle of the sea. Then you can row and float through it and you will meet Prasat Hin Pun Yod. It looks like a castle made of rocks, surrounding you in a 360 degree. Big and tall – very impressive.
Wang Sai Thong is a waterfall with small steps and tiers. Climb up on top of the waterfall here and later feel refreshed when you finally get to dip down into the cold water! Khao To Ngai is a small mountain located next to the ocean and cliff. What makes this place so special is the grey stone cliff and red stone cliff which actually emerged differently in time. This colonial-style building is a museum with a different name known by locals as Kuden Mansion. The main purpose of this building is to be a place for King Rama V to stay. However, it is now becoming a museum with lots of historical items. You will learn the ways of life of Satun people, their cultures and histories.
