We stayed here as a last minute family getaway and were so grateful for the no hassle, affordable accommodation. Getting there is easy, convenient parking, simple check-in, rooms are clean, beds are surprisingly comfortable and the indoor pool was warm and clean! Having young kids, the pool was important and although nothing special it was a much appreciated feature for our stay and luckily we arrived the day before it closed for renos. The price is unbeatable and is a simple, clean place to stay. No bells and whistles, but for the price, you can't complain.

The only thing i really didnt like was the lack of attention to detail. The padio window in 220 needs a good washing. I feel that the other head board should be removed and replaced with a couch or something seems odd . Also the power box near the tv the electricals look like they will start a fire someday. To much plugged into one little socket.
But aside from those issues . Service was great. It was quiet and calm. The management and staff are very respectful! And the price.. the price was absoulutley appropriate !
Id recomend this place forsure. Just a few minor things to deal with. But i belive in due time that the new owners will have this all figgured out!

The check process was OK in the parking lot was confronted by a man telling us he was surveying his band for safety and which direction should he have parked confronted by another man outside who was very chatty right out front and then proceeded to drop a massive knife while emptying his pipe that was staying in the hotel. information was not shared during booking that the pool would be closed the following day for maintenance got in the hot tub for all of three minutes before noticing the disgusting amount of brown film that I wiped and my finger slid right through the goo trying to find plug-ins in our room as a challenge pulling out the nightstand to look found multiple dirty Kleenexes someone’s dirty Tim Hortons rappers.. walking out of the elevator onto the sixth floor smelt like urine. The washroom walls and door was pretty dirty with plats of multiple random substances that hadn’t been wiped off in some time. Over all the staff were kind and I wasn’t accepting much with the price

The staff were nice but the hotel is old, rundown and smelled terrible (especially my room that had a lingering odour of stale cigarettes and weird cleaning products.) The deadbolt on the glass door of my ground floor room was broken so I didn’t feel safe and I had to keep the curtain drawn at all times because there were suspicious-looking men smoking outside my room in the back parking lot. There is also no elevator, so not very accessible. The power also went out in my room for several hours.

Overall good. A bit worn out in some area.
Insonorisation mediocre ( plumbing)
But a real good deal off season. Cant beat their prices.
I can only talk for my room though.
And the public hot tub ( no jets or barely…)

It a mostly clean facility. It is in a very good location. My only complaint is i reported to the man at the front desk, that my bathtub was plugged up. And by the time my shower was over i had 6 inches of water in the tub.
I should him a picture of it so he would understand. I asked for maintenance to fix it. Absolutely nothing was done about it. So either the front dest guy said nothing. Or the maintenance man just didn't care. Either way it affected how i felt about my stay.

Stayed for a night back in October. The room was quite dirty and the front desk staff was not very friendly. Small bugs were coming out of the bathroom sink drain, the shower faucet was not normal and was weird to figure out. Tub did not look clean.
Cheap, but not worth it. Photos look ok, but actual room condition was below expectations. Dirty and dated. I would at least expect friendly staff and a clean room.

Our family of five stayed at this hotel with our dog. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, we did not like how the room next to ours had a dog that barked off and on late into the night. We finally contacted the staff, and shortly after the issue was resolved.

Making a copy of my driver's license at check-in is a ridiculous protocol. Verifying my ID to confirm the credit card used is fine, but making a copy of my ID puts my personal information at risk from anyone with access to the front desk and hackers.
Our heat was not working upon arrival.

Comfortable beds, quality sheets and pillows. Not enough in-room lighting, dark flooring and darkly painred walls. Filthy garbage cans in our room. Glad the pool was open, however the hot tub was luke warm and jets not fon functioning properly.
