My interactions with staff were all excellent. I got a free upgrade to a garden room. The room was compact but had everything I needed and more. A very well stocked mini bar, 24-hour room service, real milk and cafetiere coffee. the bathroom also had some nice extra touches including tissues, flannels, a sewing kit etc. There weren't any dressing gowns. I didn't really need one, but both the type of room I booked and the type of room I was put in were advertised as having them. My main grievance is probably that there was a clear glass window in the bathroom of my ground floor room. The area outside the room contains lots of garden furniture so is probably frequently used. The blind was open when I arrived and the fact I arrived after sunset meant that I couldn't see out so it was more difficult to notice the glass was clear. That could have been highly embarrassing if I hadn't noticed. The desk lamp wasn't working. Two of the four bathroom spotlights turned on and off at random. I was only staying for one night, so didn't report this. I would have expected the desk lamp to have been tested by the cleaners though. There wasn't a comments card for any issues and I wasn't specifically asked whether there were any maintenance issues when I checked out.

Unfortunately, the particular room allocated, wasn’t great due to weather. Unable to sleep due to the noise of heavy rain hitting the roof. it was like trying to sleeping under a tin roof.

The staff were brilliant particularly the lady on reception and night porter . Only negative was I had to query the bill .

We stay here every new years eve. The hotel garden is literally the best spot in nottingham to watch the new years eve fire works

Check-in was early and I did not expect my room to be available, but after a 10 minute wait it was ready. An unexpected bonus. Also an upgrade was provided. That said the key card was not set for access at the early time, and so had to be reset upon return to the reception desk. Hotel was used as a base for a wedding. The hotel seemed very warm, as if the thermostat needed turning down.

Last minute choice and the staff are super friendly and went out of their way to make my trip enjoyable.

Stayed hete a few times and always a good experience. Staff are efficient and friendly at all times.

I’ve been here a few times before. Stayed in the garden room as I had my dog with me. Easy to get in and out of the room to the garden. Hotel is well located for the castle, city centre and theatre.

Very pleasant stay. Returned for a second time. Staff very professional, room very clean and comfortable, and location perfect if visiting Nottingham city centre and surrounding areas.

We were only there for one night but the hotel was very central for us as we were seeing a show at Centrpoint. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were booked in for breakfast which was the usual sort of meal in hotels and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The only downside was parking as it was very small but we managed to squeeze into a place. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Small and friendly hotel. Staff approachable and eager to iron out issues if they arise. We have stayed at this hotel for a number of years and would not hesitate to book again.
