This is the first time I’ve stayed there, but will be back.
Located right to the centre of Bristol, across the road from the main shopping area, all things were in three minutes of the front door.
We did walk to the train station, which was a little further accessible and safe on foot or by Taxi.

This hotel couldn't be much more central, located at the Bear Pit roundabout joining Gloucester Rd. Be careful out and about in this area, Stokes Croft can be a bit druggy... Lovely restaurants nearby. Shame the underground car park isn't very secure and the local addicts use it to shoot up and collapse in.

We booked for 4 nights and it was a terrible experience as the air conditioning was not working. We asked for them to repair or give an alternate room but all they gave was a discount on the tariff. Disappointed that in these day and age they are not able to resolve the issue for 4 days and not even offer an alternate room during the entire stay.

Don’t expect a refund from this company if you check out early and cancel one nights stay before the checkout deadline.
Booked to stay in the Holiday inn Bristol city centre for 3 nights with my wife as it was very close to Bristol royal infirmary hospital.
My wife checked us out on the morning after the second nights stay before 11am checkout deadline, and was told that the 3rd nights stay would not be refunded.
She explained that I had been in the hospital for a heart valve replacement and this had failed so we would not need to stay for the 3rd night.
Holiday inn said they could not refund the money as it had been purchased through hotels.com. And hotels.com said it couldn’t refund the money as it was against Holiday inns policy.
All I know is that I now have to have open heart surgery in a few months time and one of these disgusting company’s is keeping £158 of my money.
Won’t be using again.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and staff very accommodating. Bianca on reception sorted out a problem that we had with the bath, amazing staff and hotel. Was so close to Cabot Circus. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is in the process of being refurbished and so only the 6th and 7th floor were in use. Our room was very clean with quality bathroom fittings. The bedroom area was large with everything you would expect, a safe, hairdryer, free water in the mini fridge, iron/ironing board, tea/biscuits etc. We found the matress was a little firm, therefore not as comfortable as we would have liked. The staff at the hotel are first class, very friendly and helpful. A really great choice at breakfast from a self service buffet style to cooking you porridge or pancakes! The hotel is well located in central Bristol and the car park is directly next door, park on the second floor and it gives you easy access to the hotel itself. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff were very nice and checked that everything was ok on many occasions. They greeted you very nicely and we even had a courtesy call, soon after checking in to make sure everything was ok.
Breakfast was lovely, room was friendly, and spacious.
The only downside is the seagulls sit on the windowsills but that can't really be helped by the hotel.

Very handy to have the NCP car park attached to the hotel. The welcome on reception on the ground floor was very warm - Anne was lovely and is a credit to you!
The food was very good - waiting staff quite slow despite the restaurant in the evening being almost empty especially when the Maître D said he would return to take our mains order in a couple of minutes and finally arrived about 10 mins or so later. Breakfast was very good - all you could possibly want!
The area is quite run down which is a shame but the hotel cant help that - they make up for it with their friendliness and helpfulness. Handy for the Bristol Hippodrome which is about a 15min walk away.
