Very excellent hotel with great service and in good neighborhood. The rooms are small but again we have not bad bigger rooms across UK or Europe.

I have stayed at the Melia on several occasions. Each time there is a surprise regarding the room. From ridiculous glass partitions between the bathroom and bedroom area, to a bathroom so small in the "suite" that you couldn't access the toilet without closing the door and getting around it. I might be in the minority, but don't see the advantage of having a bathtub in the bedroom area. I felt the cleanliness of the room/bathroom was just okay. This will be my last stay at the Melia.

The hotel is well situated and clean but the windows are old so do not keep the noise out. Shower is great but no bathrobes provided which I think is poor for this standard of hotel - probably wouldn't stay there again.

Hotel itself was pleasant, rooms are nice. Same standard of room can massively differ though - we asked to move rooms due to it not looking anything like photos, this was able to be done for us. Location just feels a little bit further out than other hotels I’ve stayed at in London.

It is a 1936 building , Lobby looks good but corridor are all beat up , carpet and walls , dark , staff is good and affable, but also very aggressive toward tips .

Stay was good. Hotel had broken elevator, very haggard public spaces and we had to switch rooms due to the strong smell of mildew. Staff is doing their best with a not perfect building.

Very comfortable every time I’ve stayed here but there wasn’t any room upgrade availability which was a shame and beds weren’t so comfortable, could do with a mattress protector at least. Overall I would recommend, modern, clean, great location and staff are very helpful at check in, great value for money

The lady on reception was very rude upon check in. We had 2 rooms and she couldn't find the other booking but was rather ruse when we were trying to give other names for the booking. We eventually found the correct name for the 2nd booking. We had originally booked twin rooms but one room was a double with a cot. We were told that this would be sorted but it wasn't so 2 males had to share the double bed.

Definitely recommend this hotel, great check in friendly staff excellent customer service. Shower water ran out into bathroom floor and the pillows were flat would go back
