Spa Court is a well located property in Cheltenham, with pubs/bars within 1 minute, Brewery 1/4 5 mins away and Montpellier around 10 minute walk. The accommodation is ex student halls, but the apartment has enough for 2 people. The key system works well, and the staff allowed us to check in early without any fuss. Suited for friends imo or couples with a lower budget. Overall a very pleasant stay with zero complaints.

Great loaction, good ammenities. Not as clean as it should be and you could see layers of dust on top of the cupboards. Bed was on the soft side but comfortable.

The property had a strong smell due to high chemical smell in the en-suite. Not sure if the extraction fan in the en-suite worked as did not seem to reduce this smell. This resulted in having to have the window open on a very lively busy street in centre of Cheltenham - which was really noisy. Thus, we both suffered poor sleep

Accommodation is located centrally and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to come together with family. Add £13 per day for parking as the place has not its own parking. The place is clean but I gave it a 3 for cleaning because there were empty food boxes behind the desk in the main bedroom. Towels were clean but old . Communication was great and we will definitely go back again but will ask them to pay a little more attention to cleaning .

The general facilities were good, but overshadowed by the awful mattresses that allowed us only a few hours of broken sleep when the springs poked you on an unsupportive mattress through the night. On the Saturday after the first night when complaining I was told there was nothing that could be done before Monday which was our checkout day. It was a very black mark on an otherwise decent room, but being able to sleep is really important as it did affect everything we had planned as we're so tired all weekend.

General stay was good, hotel was nice and clean. However access was a pain due to the dedicated app they use to access the property. I never initially received the email for activating and nor did anothe couple. Which led to a bit of a wait. Stay lets quickly remedied this however.

The only issue was the overwhelming smell of smoke when you enter the apartment. The actual property was great for what we were looking for. Close to the centre of Cheltenham, walking distance to lots of restaurants and plenty to do. Space was clean and comfortable but we could not get passed the smell every time we entered the apartment.

The property is a good property! However the tv was coming off the wall! The Wi-Fi didn’t work! The shower was blocked and water kept rising when taking a shower! We had to wait a while for the water to go down before the other person could use it! The kitchen sink was leaking

Small but everything present. No instructions as to get heating on but we did get radiator working - towel rail not so much. Bed mattress not high end. The physical key fob in apartment did not open the door - phone key worked well. Good central location.

First impressions were good. Neat little studio, modern decor, clean, well lit corridors, good entrance security system. We were there for 4 nights. The bed was extremely uncomfortable - the two mattresses were terrible and need replacing. Also they were put together to make a double bed, but there was a hard raised ridge in between the two. The worst bed I have ever had in a hotel. For 3 nights out of the four, we were kept awake until 4pm, as there is a nightclub adjacent to the property which had loud music blaring and people screeching and shouting in the street until well after the 3am closing time. Even though we were on the second floor the noise was extremely loud and intrusive. It is very unfair to let these flats knowing that this public nuisance is going to prevent any sleep whatsoever. The kitchen tap unit was very loose, making it difficult to turn the taps on and off. This needs fixing. There was only one teaspoon, and only one dessert spoon. The drain in the shower smelled bad all the time.

The apartment was great for a two-night stay, with all the basics we would need. It was clean and a decent size. Being in the town centre it was very noisy, mostly people shouting in the night and early hours - the windows keep out pretty much no sound, but it is bearable if you’re up late anyway. The check-in process would have been great if the key had been added to the app properly. Luckily the company sorted it before I got to the door! I like the digital key as it saves remembering your keycard. It might be difficult for some who are not good with phones and apps though.

A few niggles (no lightbulb in the main light; no soap despite being in covid times; stinky kitchen sink drain) but overall a very good stay - spacious airy studio in great central location, clean and comfortable with a good kitchen area, met my needs perfectly. Communications with Oliver of Staylets were excellent . My main gripe was the ridiculous digital key system - yes it worked fine once I'd got it, but it was a right palaver . Firstly I hadn't received the promised digital key email by the morning of arrival (Oliver kindly sorted that out smoothly), and then I ended up accidentally deleting my entire whatsapp app - all lost ! - to make space for the app you have to install to use the digital key, as my phone was so low on storage. I realise it wasn't the owners direct fault that I had no spare phone storage and did this clumsy accidental deletion, BUT the fact is that with a normal key system I would not have been having to stress/faff round with apps in the first place, and this has caused an awful lot of inconvenience to myself and others. Please could the owners consider a better alternative for the future ? .. But yep, once safely inside - a great stay, thank you.

Stay two night with this property, arrived late for checked in and discovered the bedding had urine on it but can't get help until next day, ask Hotels.com to step in for help and relocate the hotel, but they spoke an english accent that you couldn't understand, wasted half day to get it solved, then property manager on the phone agree to help and refund, thanks to him for that but our holidays has been ruined. Note, the property site on the main road next to all the bars and outlets, the noise will not stop until 4am, if you want quiet room then think again!

A simple, clean, well presented apartment. The mobile based door locking system was a little temperamental which was irritating at times. Kitchen tap was loose and could do with correctly fixing in place to make it easier to use. Otherwise an enjoyable stay in a very central location.

Property hadn't been properly cleaned, very disappointing given the covid situation. Litter left in bathroom from previous occupants. When we first complained we were told as nobody had been in the apartment for 5 days there was no risk of covid transmission. We later found blood stains on bed sheets which we were told was a stain "definitely set in the fabric" and that there was nothing that could be done. Was only when we were able to partly wipe the stain off with a damp cloth that it was accepted they had a responsibility to replace them with clean sheets. A cleaner was sent round to resolve the issues but even then, there was still bathroom litter left over (which I've still yet to receive a response about) and an initially minor issue with the bin lid not closing was never resolved and resulted in an unpleasant smell. It's a budget property so we set our expectations accordingly, but we did at least expect a clean environment and hope for a decent level of service.

We received emails beforehand with a digital key, which was easy to use. We did meet a fellow guest who wasn’t so tech savvy and he had a key fob. The apartment was centrally located. We thought the parking was free - it turns out we were wrong, but there was parking on the next street, which we only had to pay until 20:00. The studio was clean and well equipped - it even had a washing machine and clothes horse. Only slight negatives are no hairdryer (but we had a contact phone number, so I’m sure it could have been arranged) and very little storage in the bathroom. There’s a heated towel rail (bonus!) and enough room on that wall for a wee shelf for toiletries. Good TV with the option to use various TV apps (BBC IPlayer, Netflix etc.) if you have an account. Plenty of nearby restaurants, including a ‘Spoons at the end of the street. All-in-all, I’d stay again.
