Great spot. Only a few things but not enough to pull from excellent rating. Clog sink in bathroom. Elevators are slow and only three of them. Thats it! Will stay again!

I have to say, my stay at Strand Palace was amazing for many reasons. They got to know that I have planned my stay to celebrate my 20th marriage anniversary. It was nice to witness how they decorate the room with Balloons and provided special chocolates and two bottle of champaign (although we do not drink alcohol they immediately changed it to any drink we desire from the hotel restaurant) The hotel staff are so welcoming and very attentive to what ask for, they were also very helpful when asked for any guide for our walk around the city. During our stay, at midnight, the fire alarm went on, I have to give all of their staff the credit of how organized they were with the evacuation process, the marshalls were on spot with every single details in the evacuation process and coordination with the fire fighting team, thank god it was just a smoke from a room and we were all back to our rooms. one of the great things about this hotel is every attraction in central london is a walking distance, if not, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel, or take a 3 to 5 minutes walk to the underground. The only downside was the room size, it was to small but manageable. Having this all in mind, you can never go wrong in staying here, i would definitely lodge back here again on my next trip to London

Situated in the heart of the Covent Garden district, the Strand Palace is both beautiful and convenient. We enjoyed our holiday stay here with its gorgeous lobby decked out for Christmas and comfortable rooms.
