The excellent service provided by the staff made this a most enjoyable stay.

Its an old pub with uneven floors. No microwave or fridge. Breakfast is good. Bed is terrible and pillows are bricks. Must hold toiletseat while peeing. Nice pub people.

Average, small rooms, no where to sit only on the bed. Very uneven floors. But for the price and convienient location very reasonable.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely old pub. The stairs up to our room were a challenge but it was good to see an original feature still in use. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was in the bar. Very friendly staff and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The location is excellent, walking distance to the bridge into Windsor. Beautiful views. Would say again. Loved staying at this little inn. It was super cute and perfect for our first trip to Windsor. It’s in walking distance to everything in town. The downstairs pub was awesome and the food was good.

Clean and practical for a quick stay. Just what we needed

Room was up some rickerty old stairs dangerous i would say especially with a heavy case rooms were very dated breakfast was shockingly bad made partner ill didnt bother with it for the next two days.

Window could not be closed (November) asked for second heater. Even with that we had to sleep in clothing. Property needs work

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at this historic pub. Kitchen did a fine job with food offerings for both dinner and breakfast. The staff are phenomenal in making sure your needs are met. Pack light as you will need to navigate stairs, which can be a challenge with a heavy bag. For sure, this is on my list to return again. Thank you Crown and Cushion!

Having stayed at the hotel a few years ago and since using it for food which is always good, thought we'd stay again. Unfortunately, it was below our expectation. Particularly disappointed with the bathroom. It was absolutely freezing, the radiator didn't work and the gaps around the window made it worse. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean, in and around the shower was bad so didn't even use it, factoring the coldness too. I found the bed and pillows too hard, but appreciate thats a personal preference. Breakfast was served by a friendly lady and plenty of choice and fast. Food is always good here, they just need to invest some money in the rooms. Shame as we love the area but don't think we would stay again.

It is what it is… room was poorly insulated and I was woken by noise from other rooms. Some staff very friendly but one gentleman (I suspect it is the owner) was very off hand, which has influenced my review. I get the impression the he will not care, and that perhaps says it all. A real shame as they have a great location, but if visiting again I would choose any of the other options for accomodation.

We had a lovely stay at the Crown & Cushion. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Evening meals and breakfast were great. Our room was very comfortable, although one of the walls could do with some tlc, but in a 500+yr old building you've got to expect some wear and tear and quirks. The landing floor was wonky and floorboards above us were creaky, but if you use the earplugs provided this isn't a problem. Great location for exploring Windsor. Literally a few steps from the front door you can see Windsor Castle which is about 5mins walk away. Free parking for your stay was a plus for us too. We would definitely stay again.

Historical property with quirky angles, some slightly sloping and creaky floorboards but superb location for Windsor castle, river and theatre. Friendly helpful staff.

Close to everything, parking a bonus. Would stay again room very small but had everything. Breakfast average but think the cooking oil needs changing!
