I was staying for a weekend, on my own. The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable with lovely views and a modern bathroom, the service was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nice 5k route around the countryside, with a map at reception. The only negative was that it was a little cold in my room, but the outside temperature was -6C, and I was offered an extra duvet, which helped! The bar and restaurant both had an open fire. Overall, I had a lovely stay.

We had a magical stay at The Elvetham. There is something truly magical about the place, especially at Christmas 🎄. The staff were friendly, the rooms were charming, beds super comfy and the breakfast in the conservatory was fabulous. Thank you all.

We absolutely LOVED our time at Elvetham. The castle is absolutely beautiful and so much incredible history. We toured the grounds and then had dinner at the restaurant looking out over the garden. Incredible food and service.

Lovely venue. Heating in room didn’t work. Called reception they assured us it was working and would just take a few mins to start warming up.
Sadly on returning to room this not the case and freezing. Had to walk to reception and ask for another room. In fairness reception were helpful and gave us another room.
Just made the evening far from relaxing as intended.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Elvetham Hotel. The historic architecture and beautifully maintained, expansive grounds created a tranquil and charming atmosphere.
The family room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. While there were a few minor quirks in the bathroom, they didn’t detract from the overall experience.
The warm and welcoming staff further enhanced the sense of ease and relaxation. Overall, The Elvetham is a delightful choice for a peaceful getaway - I highly recommend it!

Very good overall. Felt safe and welcome as a solo traveller in the bar. Shame they had run out of Aperol and didn’t seem able to just buy locally and I wasn’t the only one to ask. However, staff were friendly and I really enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful building with amazing surroundings. Staff very friendly. Large variation of rooms available and very clean everywhere. Restaurant very pretty and food excellent. The whole place was beautifully decorated for Christmas with numerous Christmas trees and lights and atmosphere lovely.

Beautiful hotel in spacious grounds, full of character and fascinating history. Our room was in the main building, modern furnishings, clean and comfortable. We ate in the bar which was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Great stay. Will return.
