Entertainment and events at this hotel, so quite noisy in the reception area, but our room was very quiet and we were able to relax. The pillows aren’t great, but I find this with most hotels and usually remember to take my own.

Stayed at this hotel many times before, but this stay was by far the poorest.
We had booked a double room as usual as we like the beds and the bathrooms, but as we don’t check in until 10p.m. all the standard rooms had been allocated and we were put in “disabled/accessibility” room.
This means a low bed and a wet room instead of a standard bathroom, which means the whole floor ends up wet and the sink is knee high.
Rooms should be allocated when booked, not dependent on when you arrive. We shouldn’t be pressured into arriving early to ensure we get the room we have already booked. If we had been advised when booking what room was available we may have chosen to book elsewhere, but this should be our choice.

Very limited vegetarian options of those available were badly made. worst hotel breakfast I've had in long time, definitely not what I would expect from this standard hotel. On a level with Holiday Inn Express breakfast but that was free... How they charge for breakfast I do not know

The staff were mostly very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and bed was comfy. Bathroom was the only negative due to showing signs of age.
Personally the sports bar downstairs was not to my taste, but the bar staff were polite and professional.
Our stay did not allow time to use the facilities such as the gym.

The stay was ok, tried to order room service but you have to do it online and the website would only let you get to a certain point before kicking you off!
I tried several times before I gave up and had to go downstairs and order in the bar.
Most of the stay was okay apart from the bathroom where clearly the cleaners do not clean behind the bathroom door as the white tiles behind the door were yellow where they clearly had not been cleaned and when you sat on the toilet, your leg was literally touching the toilet rolls so these are clearly in the wrong place!
