voco READING, an IHG Hotel

It was a lovely hotel with excellent facilities…especially the pool and spa. Lobby area is gorgeous and staff were friendly and efficient on check in. We had a family suite which was just perfect for us to all be in one room together. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. We will definitely stay at Voco again. Thank you.

Limited car parking space, can't find the space to park overnight, apart from that, everything is fine.

Seems this Hotel is on a cost savings drive. Short on staff, except in the reception. Issues with cleanliness in the bedroom, especially around the coffee and tea making facilities. Carpet stains on the bedroom carpet really needs attention, as does the bathroom floor. Actually all areas in the Hotel need a general makeover for the modern traveller. The room key entry system has failed us each time over the last 3 visits. It’s the small things that count. Great location for our needs.

Absolutely fantastic! Comfortable, clean, spacious! Very impressed, especially that they put an extra bed out for our little girl. Great value for money!

Nice stay but the WiFi is awful.

Everything about this hotel was on point, room was clean, bed comfortable, although I didn't book for breakfast, but the choice was there if you changed your mind. Diffenetly would stay again.

This is a great hotel, modern with comfortable and spacious rooms. Unfortunately on this occasion I had an issue with the heating in the room. The controls showed an error message and the heating wouldn't work. I reported to reception and they sent someone to look at it immediately. It couldn't be fixed so I was offered an alternative room but the maintenance guy said I could have a portable heater which he brought up and that was fine. These things happen and the problem was dealt with quickly so I was very happy with the service.

Excellent staff, really friendly without being false. Clean room but a little on the dated side… I.e, I was in room 109 and the bathroom tiles need re-grouting.

The Hotel was fantastic and the gym was great, nice and clean, the staff were friendly, there was construction work being carried out on the side of the hotel, but know noise when I stay, I would definitely stay again.

This was the first time I stayed at a Voco hotel and I was impressed by the quality. Well done Voco team!

Staff excellent but run down area in the middle of a building site. Access over flow car park difficult

Really nice hotel very well presented. Room was excellent and very spacious. We stayed in a family room. The staff were very friendly and polite. Free parking also!
