My Wife, two sons and I visited the conveniently located Chateau de Bruges as an overnight stop while travelling to the south of France in August. On our arrival we were met my the wonderful hosts, Jake and Danielle, and their lovely little dog Merlin. Seldom, if ever, have I received a warmer welcome. The building itself, while still undergoing renovation in some areas, has been refurbished to a very high standard in those areas where work has already been completed. Our room and adjoining en-suite bathroom were very comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated, while maintaining period charm. Following our arrival, we all took a dip in the swimming pool which is located in pleasant gardens surrounded by countryside views. Very nice indeed. During the evening, we had a bottle of wine on the veranda again with views across the rear gardens and adjoining countryside, which was a lovely way to unwind after a day of driving. Despite being busy, both Danielle and Jake found the time to chat with ourselves and other guests during the evening and it was very interesting to hear about their experiences taking the plunge with a career change from teaching to hoteliers. I would like to thank both Jake and Danielle for a lovely yet brief stay, and I sincerely wish them every success with their project.

We had such a wonderful stay in Chateau de Bruges, it was a real haven on our drive home through France. Jake and Danielle were super kind and welcoming and we really enjoyed the charcuterie board and local wine they served in the evening.

What an amazing place, from the moment we drove into the grounds I just knew we would love it. Jake and Danielle are fantastic hosts, the renovations of the rooms they have done is excellent. Just can't fault it, so much so we booked another night on our return journey from Spain.

A wonderful Chateau in Central France run by a most welcoming and hospitable family, Graham, Jake and Danielle. The rooms were tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed a delicious family dinner prepared by Graham. This was one of best overnight stays on our 6 week tour around France. The breakfast was delicious, highlighting local produce. Overall, I cannot praise this B&B highly enough. We whole heartedly recommend this establishment and hope to return one day in the future.
