Really convenient and walkable for both Eurostar and the old town, with free luggage storage, which meant we could easily explore Lille before our train in the afternoon. Reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. As expected for a budget hotel it is basic, and rooms got very hot with no air conditioning.

Check-in was efficient and quick, staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke fantastic English (thankyou). on site underground parking was a reasonable cost per night. 1st floor street facing room - size and content as expected. Hotel and room was clean and use of a room door access code as opposed to a key/card was a nice feature. Lack of Aircon would be an issue in the summer.street / traffic noisy with window open. Great location. Room cost reasonable for the short notice booking

Pillows are like paper that I have to put a backpack underneath to have volume and neck support. Room is very small for 3 people - space just enough for sleeping. You have to go out to have some airy space. Breakfast is ok.

Great location just short walk into Lille center with nice bars and places to eat outside the hotel. Typical basic Ibis Budget hotel, friendly staff.
Only negative point was the single bed pillow which was not very good, you need at least two decent pillows. Otherwise good sleep and good value.

The rooms were very clean but very basic. It would have been good to have had 2 extra` pillows and a rack for putting suitcase on. There were also mosquitos in the room despite it being on the top floor (obviously high altitude mosquitos)

Perfect for a single person or a couple, for more than that the room is too small. But is doable if you don’t have any more options.
Breakfast is very good for the price.
10 min walking to the old town. So is in a great position.

Lovely place to stay..downside was the ladies waiting for their customers any time of the day was a bit disconcerting as they all got a bit noisy and rowdy. Other than that fab place to stay close to everything. Staff were great.

Simple friendly book-in and bedroom door code. A 10 min walk from Gare Lille Europe and 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Place (in the centre). Nice lighting in room, comfortable beds, good WiFi. Everything I needed for a lovely few days holiday with my 2 kids (we enjoyed and would recommend mooching around the Centre and Old town, Palais des Beux Arts <2 for 1 on the modest entrance fee with Eurostar tickets>, Wazemmes market, Musee Hospice Comptesse and the zoo). Thanks Lille and ibis!

I had confirmation of 3 rooms for late arrival, paid in full in advance. When we arrived, there were only two rooms designated to us and only on elf them was paid. The hotel was full and it was late, so to enter the 2nd room, I had to pay again.
