What I like most is the view from my bedroom balcony. Overall everything is beautiful. But I'm slightly annoyed because the pool and playground is too far away, they're located in the separated building from the hotel so you need take a long route to go there. But it was beautiful. So counted the long walk as exercise.

Guests may need to show a negative COVID-19 test result (PCR/antigen swab) upon checking in at the accommodation. Please contact the hotel for further information prior to your arrival. In support of fighting against COVID-19 Amartahills Hotel and Resort will apply strict health and medical procedure such as: ===================== 1. Swimming Pool & Gym open from 06.00am - 10.00am and 14.00 pm - 18.00 pm (weekday) 06.00am - 17.00 (weekend). Hotel unable to provide any pool towels for guests due to health protocol, and guest not allowed to use room towels. 2. Breakfast will be served in room, upon varies of menu selection. 3. Wearing a mask is mandatory for every guest who staying and visiting our hotel. 4. Every guest is required to regularly and cautiously wash hands / apply sanitizer. 5. Every guest is required to pass several health protocols. 6. Guest who can enter hotel area must have these criteria: a. Body temperature is under 37.3 C b. Not showing any symptoms like dry cough, chest pain / pressure, breathing difficulties, etc. 7. Every guest is required to provide complete and truthful information about health, personal identification, and travel history. 8. Guests need to fill in our registration form with actual data, including the number of guests, age, name, and other booking and staying detail. 9. Body temperature will be checked everyday, for all guest, when entering public places like restaurant or cafe. 10. Hotel will not provide any prayer equipments like: sajadah, mukena, etc. 11. Guests are required to obey all Health procedures and protocols. 12. Guests are encouraged to bring a medical certificate in the form of a PCR test and a swab test, for guests who come from areas affected covid-19.

Amartahills Resort has an amazing location with a fantastic view of the mountains (especially early in the morning). The facilities are very complete and well maintained. The swimming pool is big, a little murky, but clean (can get really busy in the late afternoon). The gym also very well appointed.
The only reason I dropped the rating a little is the breakfast. The area allocated is not big enough to handle the crowd and you have to search for a table and there is so many people the staff are just rushing around trying to keep the buffet stocked up (which they are able to do to the volume). There is a big restaurant space above the gym that would make a better venue for the breakfast and I nicer view.
The Fifteen Celsius is a good restaurant with prime views both day and night. The DJ music is a bit loud for dinner service, but I guess it was Saturday night and they wanted to create a club ambiance (even at 7pm).

Very satisfied experience, it is good for family retreat. Hotel is quiet, not much activity. Both restaurants offer great food.

We checked in late, the staff even did not offer help with our bags, We were given unclear directive to find our room. We followed the directive but ended up confused. We found the room was not cleaned properly and there were stains on bed sheet and pillow. Definitely won't return back to this hotel.

Nice hotel with best view in Batu Malang. the weather is a bit cold but this is what we seek for. Clean air to breath. Will back to this hotel for sure.
