- the type of room I booked at the Grand Zuri Hotel PKU is superior and there is no mini fridge facility, I thought there was, because this is a 4-star hotel, my experience at previous 4-star hotels always had a mini fridge even though the room type was superior (you can DM by email or contact person if you need clarification). my suggestion is to upgrade the room facilities.
- the room is not soundproof :(, because you can hear the thumping mattress + the sound in the next room. btw the room I booked (room 705) might be able to help check.
conclusion: if you want a staycation at PKU, Grand Zuri is in the comfortable & approved category.

I had a pleasant and nice stay at this hotel. Staff, room comfort and cleanliness were awesome. I big thank to housekeeping staff, all stuff were placed in a precise position and also always changing my towels everyday, even though I supported efficiency and sustainability for water. I have no complaint about the cleanliness. For breakfast selection was quite various. But I didn't try all food. But I love their omelet, the size was perfect and they added various topping that I like. Wifi also worked well. Btw I was stayed at 2nd floor, but still find comfortable and didn't get any trouble from vehicles, or loud people. When I complained about the room above my room, the staff was quick to respond. Btw the room above was a big family with kids (more than 3 I guess). And their kids keep jumping around (from bed to the floor) and it was happened at night 9-10 PM. Was annoyed me because the sound of their jump was waking me up many times. After I made a call, the jump and running kids were stopped. Thumbs up to staff that helped me on this. Recommended place to stay at Pekanbaru for sure. 😃

Overall OK. Suggestions, improve the reception of guests (when arriving there is no security / bellboy on duty and helping), the check-in process is still quite long and there is a deposit, also the swimming pool can be looked after again (there are some cracked walls, when swimming and being hit by that part can be dangerous).
