I picked this hotel based on reviews. When I checked in, it was totally the opposite of what I read. No elevator. Rooms were to small for 2 persons. You can hear everything from your room, so be prepared to be annoyed while you sleep. Towels are dirty and looks like it has been used for years. Overall, its cheap, with the cost of your quality rest and hygiene.

The Front Desk Service is Friendly & Helpful. Even though we arrived late from the scheduled time. The room we occupied was okay for that price, it was clean and smelled very good (it felt fresh every time I returned to the room) - really erased our doubts about this hostel (the initial negative review) - about breakfast, it was indeed mediocre but still okay, because we were going to eat in the city of Surabaya, so we didn't prioritize what was provided in the hostel. Our next visit to Surabaya will definitely be to this hostel. Thanks yah

The service used to be excellent. BUT today at June 3rd 2024 is not. The staff who call himself Marcel is not pleasant. Rude as if he is the owner of the hotel. I am 55 years old loyal customer placed at 4th floor, I have to use stair. He was angry because I complain about the room.

If you're really on a tight budget, this could be a good place. But if you are looking for leisure time, I would pay an additional 300k IDR to get a better hotel (and it is highly possible). Front desk staff are nice and accommodating. You could hear the footsteps outside the room. Room floor was not quite clean, there were visible dust on many surfaces. Yellow stains were found on the bed sheet and there were also wet spot on the blanket. However, when I asked the staff, they nicely accommodated my request to change the bed sheet. The hotel was claimed as a non smoking area, however, I smelled cigarette in the bathroom (I am quite sensitive of the smell of the cigarette though this might be subjective matter). Other than that was fine. TV (local channel), aircon, water heater, wifi worked fine. You got basic amenities like towel, toothbrush, and liquid soap in the shower.

Receptionist yg namanya marcell itu kurang ajar, reseh & jutek. Begitu masuk kamar lebih kaget lagi harga 250rv dpt kamar kaya begitu, benar2 tidak layak, kamarnya sempit, kotor, sprei nya bernoda disana sini, bantalnya juga kotor. Ternyata breakfast yg didpt cuma disediakan roti tawar + selai + kopi + teh + alat sandwich saja, self service. Saya benar2 tertipu dan kecewa, komplen ke petugas disana pun ga ditanggapi dgn baik! Saya byr 250rb di Traveloka tapi dibuatkan receipt hotelnya 205rb saja. Sungguh mengecewakan hotel itu!
