Monopoli Hotel Bukittinggi

Hotel is very dated. It needs some refurbishment. The door handle even wasn't working properly. The staff (especially security and receptionist) could have been friendlier and helpful.

Lokasinya bagus ditengah Kota, servisnya kurang memuaskan. Karna ketika sampai di lobi hotel tidak dibantu satpam untuk mengangkat barang, padahal dari lobi hingga ke dalam hotelnya harus menggunakan tangga. Fasilitas parkirnya juga sedikit, sehingga kesulitan memarkirkan kendaraan. Untuk kamarnya lumayan nyaman, namun saya tidak diinformasikan mengenai tipe kamar yang diberikan kepada saya pada saat check-in, saya kira kamarnya akan sesuai dengan pesanan saya yang mana ingin kamar yang ada fasilitas bathtubnya karna saya memesan kamar dengan tipe tersebut pada aplikasi. Untuk kebersihan kamarnya kurang ya, Karna ketika masuk kamar disambut dengan bau asap rokok, padahal kamar tersebut tipenya non smoking, Karna hal tersebut saya membuka jendela agar bau asapnya reda, namun ketika hendak memuka jendela, saya menemukan gorden sangat kotor dan berjamur. Fasilitas lainnya seperti sofa didalam kamar juga berdebu dan masih ada bekas nodanya. Untuk makanan, kebetulan saya juga memesan sarapan, namun ketika hendak sarapan saya menemukan banyak sekali makanan yang sudah hampir habis tetapi tidak segera di refill oleh pihak hotel. Untuk pilihan makanannya juga terbatas, untuk rasanya biasa saja, tidak seperti yang diiklankan.

Everything was great. We got room with mountain view which was very beautiful view. The staff was friendly. Everytime I reached out to room service they responded superfast. The food also delicious with a wide range of variety.

Even though the Old Building Hotel has changed its name several times, initially Novotel, The Hills, Tripletree and now Monopoli since October 2024, service remains the main thing.

The room is very old 😔 the furniture is dilapidated, many lights are broken, the AC is not clean and the air is musty. The room door doesn't even close properly. The room boy just opens the room door with the main key without first confirming whether there are guests inside or not. Only the strategic location is highlighted again from this hotel. The comfort of the room, the politeness of the staff and even the cleanliness of the room are really downgraded. It's a shame, even though this used to be the best tourist hotel

The towels are yellow and look dirty. The room is noisy / you can hear other guests chatting and stuff.

The room is okay, the facilities are good, the receptionist is quite friendly. But the valley staff is not very friendly, maybe because I brought a motorbike, so the service is different from those who bring cars. The restaurant staff was not very friendly, maybe they were just unlucky today.
