This is our second time staying here because we have not found another property on OTA that matches Pelemsewu as a place with a cottage that is almost perfect for our family vacation taste. However, there are 2 negative notes that are very important for management to improve the quality of service so as not to be drowned by other properties: 1. The cleanliness of the area seems to be poorly maintained and we see it as if it is heading for bankruptcy with plants and corners that are neglected from maintenance. It seems like it has only been swept. So when we went there, the atmosphere became haunted and we were worried that there would be snakes hiding because it was so dark and messy. The swimming pool is very unkempt. Very different from when we went there in 2019, it was a very lively, clean, well-maintained property, and there was not the slightest impression of being haunted or dirty. Very clean. That's why my wife and I prefer to stay in Pelemsewu and are willing to have to go back and forth to the Eastparc hotel because we actually also booked a room for our children and aunt at Eastparc. 2. When checking out, I had put my bags outside the room for the staff to carry. It turned out that the staff entered the room without permission even though I had said that my wife was still there. My wife was very very very shocked when she came out of the toilet and there was staff in the room. The staff should not have entered and made sure that there were no guests in the room at all. This incident was the most fatal and made my wife very traumatized and never wanted to return to Pelemsewu. In fact, the inherent sharia concept should also be reflected in the attitudes and ethics of the staff. In terms of service, all staff were quite friendly, no complaints. Only the sharia ethics need to be fostered and educated so that similar incidents do not happen again to other guests. If Pelemsewu was very clean, it is not certain that my wife would want to return there because of that trauma. Why am I still giving good stars, because I feel that there was a part of my mistake, namely not closing the door. But still, with the information I have conveyed that my wife is still there, this is a fatal mistake for them.

Stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Since the beginning, the TV had no signal. It went back and forth, not properly. The last night I just got a signal. The bathroom, my gosh, the closet was dirty. The mat and towel were the same color. Both were very dirty. Even though the location is not far from the city. Spider nests everywhere. Baby centipedes got in. Hopefully they will pay more attention.

Yesterday, we had a family event at Pelem Sewu, the cottage was very comfortable. Our children were swimming and grilling, we brought our own equipment, we were lent a place near the swimming pool while still maintaining cleanliness and order. In the morning the hotel is beautiful but in the evening it is scary, luckily there is a friend who wants to stay with me because I got a room at the end. When I borrowed a mask, the mask was a bit dirty.
