Stayed for 2 nights in this hostel, this place is perfect for backpackers who want to travel under a budget but still cover for comfy. The strategic location allowed me to explore around some destinations in Malang city, while enjoying some culinary not too far from the hostel. Staffs were very friendly, well, this is Java, everyone here is friendly! I stayed in female only room, the pods are decent, bed sheet and blanket are spotless clean. Shared bathroom was clean and looked well maintained. Hot water available 24/7 (i guess) and the water pressure is good too. There is a Fugu cafe downstairs where you can have a time for yourself, enjoy some coffee or other food and beverages. Get 20% discount just by showing your access card to the barista :) Overall, I had good memories staying in SO! Boutique hostel. Will definitely come back here if I have a chance to visit Malang again some day. Keep up the good work!

This accommodation is perfect if you want to explore Malang and just need a place to sleep. The design is very unique and catchy, with a simple but still comfortable bed. The bathroom is clean and has water heather. One thing that I love the most from this accommodation is the location which is very strategic and easy to be reached. The staff is very kind, welcome and friendly!

Very comfy, industrial design, toilet has heater, close to the city, old town, and train station. Bed was okay, but I think the bedcover should be changed regularly. I suggest you to choose the down bed instead of the upper one. If you are too sensitive with smoke, it might not good choice for you, although there was a smoking area (literally at the lobby), but I could smell it from the upstairs (in front of the room, not inside). If you are moslem, there was no prayer room (I do hope they will provide it in the near future)

Really recommend for you to rest especially to transit and not recommend for stay in a long time

Everything, including the staff and the room, was good. It was also great to know that Kayutangan Heritage was only 200 meters away from the hostel.

The condition of the bed and bathroom on the 4th floor is dirty. Check out info on the Traveloka at 12 pm turned out to be at 11 am at the reception, when confirmed, the answer was that the information on the application had not been updated. But the location is very strategic & the price is cheap.

The staff was friendly, the room is super comfy! But the AC is only ON on certain time, like at night starting at 5PM, however it had passed 5PM but the AC was off. The bed was nice and smelled so gewd. BUT the off was on the sharing bathroom heheehe. If you could survive with that quite messy situation, just go for it. Anyway, I only stayed for 2 hours.

I was bitten by bedbugs. There 's no doubts about it. Woke up, saw one. The staff knows but they and the owners seem clueless about the right way to get ride of them. The quantity of bites I received on the first night is a very good indicator that the problem has been there for a long time. I am writing this hoping they read about how and take drastic steps to solve the situation.

Kedua kali nya kesini masih tetep aja locker tidak bisa dipakai dan tidak ada usaha diperbaiki, tisu selalu tidak ada, ruangan yg berisik, ada tamu rombongan lebih dari 2 lbih baik dipisah, karena menganggu istirahat yg lain, mereka bercanda, makan dll di ruang tidur smpe jm 24.00.

Not good enough, especially with facilities that are still lacking, lockers are broken, beds are too narrow and crowded, bed sheets, bathrooms and toilets are dirty, there are no tissues.

Very strategic Location, have a great experience for traveler, or backpacker. Have a mini coffe shop and meals. Cool. But very dissapointed when the locker was trouble. But its okay. Very safety.
