Hotel Calimala Firenze was probably one of the best hotels nested in the heart of Florence. My family of four was traveling Italy for 11 days during last Christmas holiday. We chose to stay at Hotel Calimala from 12:25-12/27. If you have a chance to stay at this property, please choose it without any hesitation. We reserved 2 bedrooms next to each other ( one room occupied by my 13 and 15 yr old sons). We stayed at a deluxe bedroom and everything was perfect. Welcome gifts and bottled water were served daily. We also had great amenities offered in both bedrooms. Breakfast was great and plentiful. House keeping was provided daily. Hotel staffs were very professional and courteous. Also everything is in walking distance. Uffizzi Museum was only 3 minutes away, shopping centers and restaurants were just minutes away, and even Duomo was only 4 minutes away. We plan to return to this property again in near future when visiting Italy.

Perfect location. Excellent staff was extraordinary in helping us navigate dining options and finding solutions to all our concerns, especially train travel options during train strike in Italy. Highly recommend this professionally friendly hotel.

Outstanding service! The staff was so friendly and helpful make checking in a breeze! The manager Angela even sent a thank you note! The housekeeping staff even greeted us too with welcome chocolates. This hotel is fantastic, and our only regret is not staying in Florence longer at this wonderful hotel!!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this hotel is amazing. The service from the staff was top notch. The decor and aesthetic is incredible. The rooms were beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great too. The location here is perfect and within walking distance to many attractions with endless dining options and shopping. 10/10 recommend.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to help me find everything I needed. The rooftop restaurant served the best meal I had on my trip. I really want to thank the young lady at the front desk who helped me everyday to find shopping, restaurants, train station, etc. I travel frequently and would stay here again & again!!! Thank you!!!

Genuinely one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed at. My boyfriend and I love staying at boutiques every time we come to Paris and we were given the most spacious room. The service is amazing, the rooms are amazing, the bathrooms are amazing - we had two sinks??? wow. Robes are insanely comfortable - the softest ever, not sure how they do it, but I need the brand. The company cares about their customers and you can tell. This luxury boutique is so high- end and amazing. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great 10/10 stay. Everything smells amazing too :)

We had a great stay here! The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Be aware that there are 2 buildings across the street from each other, but both are nice. The staff is also very friendly.

The location and service were amazing. We had a problem the first night with a room that smelled like sewage. They had no other room with 2 beds available although they offered us a room with a bed and sofa. The next night we were moved to a new room and given a free breakfast. I would stay here again in the "old" building, since the "new" building had the smell issue.
