I would come back and stay longer next time. Excellent location by the Bagni Lido & Flora private beach. Full of dining options few steps away from the hotel.

We so enjoyed this location.. across a tiny street to the ocean, walking to anything you want, nice area . Staff was helpful and very accommodating. We would love to come back.

Paid for sea view and received a back room with a dirty balcony and broken chaise lounge and no view. The area was ok but staff not very friendly or helpful.

Everything meets expectations

It is good hotel for stay few days. We love their restaurant it was awesome food and service. Room was clean but bathroom has some damp smells, other then it was a good stay their.

The property was in a good location. Parking was difficult around the waterfront. Very convenient to restaurants. Hotel a bit dated.

A one night stop over on the way to Milan, Rapallo was an absolute delight

Room was very disappointing, very dated, noisy air conditioning, noisy rooms from vehicles outside, bed hard, breakfast was very good. The front reception were very helpful. Great location was the plus point.

We had a pleasant stay at the Rivier. The reception staff were helpful and accommodating. We had a large terrace which was a bonus, although it did need some TLC. Good breakfast

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location in Rapello and good breakfast

September 2023 Our reservation was cancelled by hotel Riviera’s staff the day before we were going to check into the hotel. Their initial given reason was that it was a technical problem. We called them and they said it was because of a broken window. They booked us into another hotel without any consultation. When we arrived in Rapallo we went into the hotel they booked us into and they had no knowledge of reservations made by Hotel Riviera. It was very stressful especially finding hotel they booked us in was of a much lower quality without the location and sea view we had booked and confirmed with Hotel Riviera months prior. We went to Hotel Riviera and spoke with staff who informed us that we were canceled because they had overbooked our room and that the new guests were staying for the more expensive nights. This situation should never have come about if Hotel Riviera had honoured our confirmed booking. We wrote a complaint to Hotel Riviera and requested a response and to this date no response has been received. We hope that Expedia investigates this unethical practice. We would not recommend Hotel Riviera to anyone due to there being absolutely no guarantee they would honour any future reservations, confirmed or not.

Although the bed and pillows are old, everything else is ok. The staff are very helpful. Location is perfect!

Nice view, friendly staff

Lovely European hotel right on the promenade and walkable to restaurants and shopping. The beach is right across the street. Rooms are spacious. Beds are a little hard but not bad. Enjoyed our stay.
