Dormy Inn Kawasaki Natural Hot Spring

If you love a good Japanese breakfast, and I mean very good Japanese buffet, this is the place to fill your palate. It is by far the best breakfast buffet ever. I would go back just to enjoy the breakfast buffet again. Beds were comfortable. The station is nearby with plenty of shops. Their laundry facility had enough machines that didn’t feel stressed to secure an available washer or dryer for clean clothes. This hotel is well thought out with Onsen and late night ramen for guests. Very few westerners as guests and more were from other large Asian country, unfortunately some were rude without proper etiquette but did not detract from the wonderful Japanese experience. The staff didn’t speak English but were nice and very helpful. They do not reply to any email communication

Very nice place to start off our trip to Japan. AMAZING location and the onsen on the top floor was pristine and beautiful.

quiet and comfy with great hot springs. would be nice if the hours of the hot springs were communicated a little more directly to the guest when checking in

Perfect hot spring at top floor and breakfast and night free Ramen noodle. Also one more benefit is 7 Eleven convenience store locate just next door where we can access with sandal. Thank you

A very nice and pleasant stay with helpful and friendly staff

We booked a room for two adults and one child (12 years old). When we arrived at 1 AM we checked in two a room that barely had room for two people. We had to change to a bigger smoking room and pay an extra 2000 yen...

Easy access to public transportation with hot spring available

The property is excellent and well managed, lots of shops around. Great amenities are being provided by hotel.

Great spa facilities and the breakfast was fantastic for only ¥1,100

Staff were very helpful, nice facilities and very clean. I am sure I would stay next time travelling in Japan.

About 1/3 of a mile from the Kawasaki JR station and is close to many restaurants and stores. The Onsen was very nice the breakfast superb. We are staying there again the next time we go to Tokyo

Excellent stay with plenty of amenities for our stay and clean rooms.

We stayed at this hotel both the beginning and the end of our Japan trip. For the first part, we got a room on a higher with a nice view and was able to catch a sunrise. There were street noises though, but especially bad during the second part of our stay when we were on a lower floor. The latter room did not smell fresh and the wifi was so bad at this facility. However, we did enjoy the onsen and sauna facilities. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was great!

The breakfast is "da bomb" according to my travel friend...and it sure was the crown jewel of this experience. I could post pics, but I want every person to have the same joy we had walking into the breakfast room. You really need to do it. We wonder if there's an option to just buy a package including breakfast & onsen...like a daypass. Our other friend opted out of breakfast, and we almost cried for him. Between bites of delicious food, that is. Seriously though, there were a lot of Asians there for some reason, and everyone was ON TOP OF IT for every food opportunity. I swear, free shoyu ramen started at 930 and by the time we got down there at 934 it was packed. You don't wait long however, as the ramen barista is superfast. I'm pretty convinced we need to make this our last stop if we ever visit Japan again. EVERY person was so well-trained and professional--they were very well-staffed here and our experience was absolutely 5 star. This place is so underrrated I really want to keep it a secret. Please keep doing what you're doing Dormy Inn Kawasaki, you guys are doing amazing job from the front desk staff to the ramen server, from the room operator (always picked up within 3 rings) to the breakfast team (despite the volume of people and the variety of food, nothing ever was short each time I went up....and I went up several times), beef griller, omelette cook, ramen barista #2 (yes we had ramen again, a different one!) ....and yes laundry machines with the detergent.

Awesome accommodations and staff. The rooms are clean, the spa looked great (did not use) and the surrounding area is safe and quiet. There is a foriegn currency exchange ATM in the loddy, the staff members are top notch customer representatives. The train station is within walking distance and cost 320 Yens (as at Oct 2024). Great place to stay.

Fantastic hotel. 15th floor Onsen was a great plus with beautiful views of the city. Excellent amenities, friendly staff, great location (easy walk to Kawasaki station). Restaurant hours were very strange (9:30-11pm).
