Prime location. Kind and down-to-earth staffs. Facilities are old but okay. My biggest complaint is the noise from elevator. Maybe this only applies for the top floor, but I had to use ear plugs to sleep. Call me too sensitive but I've never used ear plugs in any of the 100 hotels I've stayed. A sound of gust from the elevator shafts and a braking sound of elevator consistently hits your room. I asked for different room and moved further down the aisle but it was the same. Maybe they're all connected by air duct or whatever. Would definately come back if not for the noise. Again, no property can beat the location.

It was an ok hotel but generally speaking, I think the hotel management should work harder on the staff's behavior because they are very unfriendly, don't look happy on your presence there and if you don't greet them, they do not say anything at all to you. I've been 20 years living in Japan and my Japanese is fine so there is no excuse because I talked to them in Japanese all the time. I have hotel's management degree and if this was my hotel, there is a lot of work to do...

Nice sea view, everything ok, except the mini-fridge a bit noisy

Considering it's a Holiday Inn hotel, none of the staff could speak English on a basic level. Most of them needed Google Translate to converse for basic directions. We had a great beach view. Room was spacious and amenities are always well-stocked each day. Location was a bit far from most attractions.

What a special and relaxing place. Amazing views, right on the beach, beautiful area to walk around and nice food options nearby. Also close drive to lots of beautiful nature. The onsen is spacious and wonderful, includes a sauna and cold tub. Lots of surfing right in front of the hotel also.

I like the location, great view and its facility. Price was good as five star hotel. Public bath is excellent as well. But there is a room for improving morning breakfast.

This hotel overall is awesome, spent 2 days there and staffs are super friendly

The staff was very helpful and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious with a great view. I loved that the bathroom and toilet were separate. We wanted to try the buffet but we thought it was a little overpriced compared to the options available outside the hotel. The onsen experience with a sea view was amazing !

We came during the off season. The front desk was helpful with our late check-in and making reservations for dinner. The room has a great view of the beach. Downside to the room is the temperature control would not go any lower than 20C and window doesn't open enough to allow air flow. The hot spring is available but I didn't use it.
