A boutique hotel tuck away from the busy street near to Gokufuji subway station or 20 minutes walk to canal city or 30 minutes walk to hakata station. Room are well maintained and decent room size with air purifier in the room. I realised the staff members don't smile much. I suppose only the bigger room comes with a window view others only to be blocked by the adjacent building. House keeping for 4 days stay and above but changing of towels is available. Comfortable bed and sheets.

The hotel staff very helpful, the hotel not near Hakata station, it takes about 15 mins walk. Near hotel there is bus can take to Hakata station or take subway.

We have stayed at the Hotel Oriental Express hotel at Tenjin and this is basically more or less the same as that one except the rooms are a bit smaller. The location is very convenient which is only a short walk from the Nakasu-Kawabata station. There are also shopping close by like the Kawabata Dori and Donki, and it is actually within walking distance to Canal City as well. For the price we paid, I think this was good value

Very excellent service and management. This hotel is fabulous! The room was very luxurious and clean. Staffs were kind and responsive.
I received the Expedia VIP upgrade and it was very well done. In addition to the luxurious room on the top floor (next to the gym and vending machine), I was given a complimentary ticket to a cafe located in the center (Hakata station). The employees there welcomed me and explained me the options. I chose coffee cake and those were very good.
Location of the hotel is not on the main street, but nonetheless very close to the metros and easy to get to on foot by metro.
Basically, it was the best service you could receive from a non-five-star hotel.

This is a decent hotel in a very exciting neighborhood. Lots going on and easy to get there! It’s not fancy but it was quiet, even during the festival!
