The property was fine the staff were beyond helpful they called us a cab, hauled our bags in and were very nice. The surrounding area though was a mess though, overgrown vacant buildings and generally abandoned looking. Not sure if it’s more active and taken care of in summer. The theme park was decent for small kids.

The people at this hotel were super nice. They walked us up to show us our room and set it up Nicely for 3 people. The room was really clean and the bathroom was huge. We had a balcony which had a nice view of the marina. I would say the only downside is the beds were super hard. Like so hard it made it hard to sleep and the pillows were super flat
The area is kinda quite. There is the Onsen and porta Europa but not much more in the area. All the other things to do in wAkayama are about an hour away.
