De L'Etang Jersey

This is our 2nd time staying at De L'Etang. We like the comfortable & clean room, friendly & helpful staff, good breakfast options & delicious Greek food in the attached Taverna! Close to St Helier & bus routes. Wonderful outlook over the beach. When we next have a holiday in Jersey, we will happily book De L'Etang again.

Great location right on the sea front, friendly staff and lovely breakfasts. Nice outside bar area for sunny days.

This is an awesome tourist hotel. Fantastic breakfast. Great views of the water. I recommend water view or balcony. The owner and all the workers are super nice.

Room was cleaned everyday and towels changed.Bathroom small but adequate. Staff friendly. Food good in onsite restaurant. Very hot weather but way of cooling room - no AC or fan so very uncomfortable nights.

Very friendly helpful staff. Great food. Rooms are a little dated. Ask for high floor as road is very noisy. Especially when you have your window open in the hot weather. Overall very good weekend away. Would come back

The hotel location is excellent, opposite the beach and close to the lido. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are cleaned daily. Our second stay here and although we missed out on the balcony room, the alternative was fine. We ate in the restaurant too, which was great.

Lovely small private hotel, very friendly helpful staff, nice rooms and excellent breakfast included. On bus route so easy access to main bus station where you could then catch buses anywhere. Dining room for evening meals if you wanted to dine in.

We had a wonderful experience there! The rooms were clean and decorated really cute. The breakfast selection was amazing (and included in the price!!!). The hotel is right on the beach and an easy 10-15 min walk to the center of St. Helier. The hosts Rebecca and John are the sweetest and kindest people and will go out of their way to make your stay a great time! We especially enjoyed having drinks at the bar and eating in the greek restaurant. It was always a good time! We will be back for sure!

Die Zimmer sind einfach und sauber. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Abendessen im Hotel ist sehr gut. Leider hat uns der Hoteleigentümer zwar den Wunsch nache einer Karaffe von 200ml Ouzo erfüllt, aber uns dann 50 GBP berechnet. Irgendwie fühlt sich das für uns sehr negativ an.

Der Aufenthalt begann mit einem sehr herzlichen Empfang der Gastgeber! Die Lage, direkt am Meer, hat uns super gut gefallen. Bis ins Zentrum von St. Helier läuft man ca. 12 Minuten. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist einfach, aber sauber. Die Bäder müssten mal überholt werden. Sie sind sehr klein und älteren Datums. Gegenüber anderen Hotels spart man aber auch pro Nacht um die 40 Pfund pro Doppelzimmer, die man tagsüber dann gut für einen Restaurantbesuch einsetzen kann. In den meisten Hotels wird das Frühstück noch extra berechnet. Im L'Etang war das gute, frisch zubereitete Frühstück inklusive. Hatte man eine Frage oder ein Problem, so waren die Gastgeber John und Rebecca immer ansprechbar, genauso wie das ebenfalls sehr nette Personal. Zum Hotel gehört auch ein griechisches Restaurant. Auch hier günstige Preise und gutes Essen. Wir würden immer wieder im L'Etang übernachten, wenn wir auf Jersey sind!!
