The reception was often not open or no one was there. The cleaning of my room never happened only towel changes. The coffee in the room ran out and they never replaced it.

Unfortunately I didn't realize that the hotel was above a restaurant , bar and takeaway place and you had to share the entrance with theses and carpark, with hotel guest having to use the further carpark from entrance. the entrance and lobby was unattended and needed some maintenance as did the room, also very noisy from the traffic and doors closing loudly.
Positive the room was well set out and location was ok.

This accommodation is adequate and sufficient for the price we paid which was very reasonable. We did not have high expectations and are not needy. A room and a bathroom were all we needed for 1 night. We stayed on a Monday night and were lucky to get a corner room with a great view of the trees at Hagley Park. It was a very spacious room although the bed mattress was very hard. Everything was clean and tidy. It was unusual to find the reception area unattended but we figured it out and used the phone to call the receptionist. It was a simple exchange with the person that worked there. No fuss. We parked our van on the top level of the carpark and removed everything from it so nothing to tempt anyone to break in.
Common sense and earplugs work well at this good accommodation!

It was a different room to usual on other of building with a window looking on to car park with no window opening. Room is lovely and roomy, comfortable bed, but more tea coffee and sugar would be nice only enough for 2 cups of each.

We had a view of the car park and were woken at 4am by rubbish collectors outside our window. No storage for clothes and had to use the ironing board to sit a case on. The staff were friendly and helpful though

They need to put more tea, coffee, hot chocolate,and sugar sachets in rooms never enough for more than 3 drinks a person a day :(
