Movënpick is a solid 8/10. The best thing about it is the staff. They’re extremely friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The pool area is pretty nice too.
The beach isn’t very clean and the hotel has a cement pier right next to it, which isn’t pretty to look at. There’s also a lot of trash that you can see from our hotel room on the hotel site next to it.
Finally, be warned that the shops in the hotel don’t take credit cards.

The best thing about Mövenpick Resort is the staff. They were helpful and friendly. The beautiful pool area was the perfect place to take a dip. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazed of the cleanliness, safety of the property, food was amazing, the only thing i have to comment was after checking in they the front desk gave us a coupon to eat dinner or lunch, so we did choose dinner , we went to the restaurant and got seated, there was a buffet i ask the waitress if we can start, she said to wait about 15 to 20 min we were waiting like a fool no water was served and still waiting until the waitress came back and said, we can order ala carte, my kids order and a guy water ask ask if we would like the buffet, by then I'm frustrated just eat a little and left my kids i lost my appetite. My say they should have communicated before we were send to the restaurant seating looking like a fool. That's unacceptable.

Hotel room is a bit old but overall hotel has a good design. The beach is not so real but I love that they have many seats and chairs that guests can surely get one. Their dinner buffet is very nice.

It was a great place to stay in Mactan. Staffs are very polite and friendly. I will recommend this to all of my friends. My only concern was the prices of food and drinks. It was a bit expensive.
