** Caution ** Due to an active volcano in the region, all flights had been canceled around the area (MNL airport was completely closed). I attempted multiple times to cancel my reservation with a refund. The hotel wouldn't budge. Terrible customer service (sometimes extraordinary circumstances allow for "rules" to be bent). They wouldn't even allow me to rebook for a later date...

We like it since it is located near the sea or river. However it is quite far from the city center and will cost you a fortune going to the city for lunch or dinner. Although staff were friendly and helpful especially Sylvie and Dada. Would suggest that they provide shuttle service going to and from the city.

To keep this brief: This is great for people that like quiet, relaxing escapes - don't expect the "alona beach" vibe here. It's a very remote place and transport is needed everything. Positives: -Staff are friendly and welcoming (and the owner) -Nice pools, and on the sea (can swim there too) -Good value for money for the room -It's relaxing, perfect place to bring a book and chill Things to improve: -The food choices are very limited. I stayed for 6 days and most options are rice with either chicken or pork. Breakfast is also mostly rice and meat. I was told the portion is "okay for 2" on some meals but they seemed normal size. -There is no pricing on the menu so I was a little shocked at the price of my bill on checkout -I was ill for a few days and was a little disappointed they said they'd charge a "service fee" to bring my meal to my room which is very near the eating area. Would have been a nice touch to waive it. -A few small things in the room need maintenance, some lights need bulbs changing, shower emited a horrid smell for a few mins when turned on each time too. Overall I recommend this place if you're a couple and want a quiet getaway. It's a lovely place and the staff are super nice.

I fell in love with the property the moment I set foot on it. It is perfect for a solo, relaxing trip. I got a chance to meet and had a pleasant conversation with Ernie, the owner of the place, and couldn't have been happier throughout our conversation. The care and attention that went into this place is what made it perfect. Sylvie & Samantha were very helpful and friendly/attentive to the guests. The food is freshly made always with vegetable from their own garden; what else can one asks for!! I ended up eating dinner here every night instead of going out to dinner. If you're looking for a vibrant place to party, this is not the place for you; but if you're looking for a sanctuary to relax and enjoy the comfort of home-cooked food and home feel, then this is the perfect place for you. I would definitely come back and stay with them again in the future. I couldn't help but to feel like a part of the family. The surrounding area is not glamorous, however, they can arrange for transportation to take you to places in the island very easily.

This place was amazing! We came to the place to unwind and relax from the hustle and noise of Metro Manila. We came to the right place! The place is great, just as it was dscribed in their website. The staff were polite, courteous and friendly. Our stay was even more special because the owners happen to be there too and we got to know them. The place is truly a labor of their love. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. We will return again when the opportunity arise. Just hoping the roads leading up to the place will soon be improved.

Good ocean view

We stayed at the hotel one night in a two bedroom villa. The hotel is in a quiet, secluded area with a nice view of the ocean. The kids enjoyed the kids' pool as well as the full size pool. A very nice, simple cooked breakfast was prepared for us in the morning.

The staff was so friendly and accommodation from the time we checked in.Breakfast was always on time and good taste.The pancit was excellent also. Swimming pool was clean.Room had ceiling fan and air conditioning. Beautiful landscape also. Far from town but that was great for us. No karaoke or videoke. Would definitely stay again.

It was a great experience and the whole staff was superb! We could not ask for more! We were pampered like a VIP!

We felt like we were staying with a Filipino family. Friendly and very helpful staff (especially Janet). Nice pool and terrace overlooking the bay below. Good breakfast and evening meal (limited menu but fresh ingredients e.g. fish from local fishermen). Extension work ongoing during our stay so somewhat noisy during the day. The owner, Ernie, was supervising and was very apologetic about this. Deluxe cabana was cramped with a small but adequate bathroom. Quite isolated and nothing of interest within walking distance, but staff arranged trike to go into Tagbilaran and good quality transport for sightseeing tours.

Very quiet place, excellent view, comfortable villas, nice breakfast with a wonderful seaview, helpful staff. Only problem we had was the smell of paint from the construction in the yard. I hope it will be over soon.

Quiet and peaceful.

A romantic few days away. Set in a location which overlooks the bay /sea, which makes this a beautiful resort. It seems someone has actually thought about the design of this resort before construction was started, and it feels complete, not with after thoughts and bits added, and laid out with real grass lawns, not rubble. The areas set aside for couples with stunning views out to sea are priceless for intimate, romantic chats. But the attention to personal detail by the staff, especially from a lady called Janet, is what puts this resort above many of the others in the area.
