Rooms were ok, the aircon kept flashing all night but the bed was comfy enough. Parking is a pain there so best to try park round the corner near the school. Wonderful service though.

Alte Tradition is a beautiful property in the middle of Alte village. The rooms are beautifully designed each with its own special touch of theme through the medium of soft furnishings. Impeccably clean, everything really modern whilst retaining cultural identity. We were the only guests on the night we stayed. It felt very exclusive and were made to feel really at home. The hot tub on the roof really was the highlight, nice and warm and ready to go. We used it under the stars for a couple of hours surrounded by peace and fresh mountain air. In the morning a lovely breakfast was served in buffet style. Lovely spread and quality local produce. Staff were friendly and very efficient. If we ever head back that way we will definitely stay again. Alte village is not exactly set up for tourists staying overnight, it’s more for day trippers. We enjoyed interacting with the locals as much as we could. The hotel has other properties which we would be keen to try out in the future.

A great place to stay in the Algarve! Clean modern rooms, pool, hot tub, fantastic breakfast. Awesome staff, quiet location. Would absolutely recommend.

Very nice place to stay. Had 2 night stop. Very clean and staff friendly. If you are arriving after 5pm make sure you let them know as there is no staff there after 5pm. Also they do not do evening meals. If you want to go out and about you will need a car. We were on a cycling tour so we were just stopping over.

Truly recommend this place! A very calm, very well equipped place. Nicely decorated rooms, bathtub inside. Each room has it's different theme and decoration. There is a very nice roof top terrace with jacuzzi... It's really nice to stay there and drink a glass of wine under the stars.... The breakfast is good, not the best I've ever tried but quite good. The service is good, no complaints there. The only downside we've seen is really expensive laundry service: it ranges from 5 to 25 EUR depending on the amount of clothes you bring.For a small village in Portugal it's ridiculously expensive. But nevertheless 5 starts from me!
