Really nice hotel that was reasonably priced in a convenient location. It's a bit removed from the chaos of Myeondong, but it's still easy to walk to the action. My room was also very sizable and had a nice clawfoot soaking tub, which I enjoyed after walking all over the city. Don't hesitate booking here!

Great hotel, well located next to the area with the street food market. The conditions of the hotel are top notch. Everything worked to perfection. Go for the club level rooms. Its totally worth it.

Staying at L’Escape was so lovely. The staff are amazing and so helpful. They even upgraded our room when they found out it was our honeymoon. The rooms were nice and spacious with a separate bath and shower. There was even a voice-controlled screen for you to turn on/off the lights and TV as well as open and shut the curtains. The black-out curtains were so good and really allowed us to have a good night’s sleep. The rooms were also sound proof so it was super quiet. They made up our rooms when we requested and always did such a great job. They even went the extra mile and arranged our items nicely on the table. Location wise, it is one of the best hotels. It is a short walk to Myeongdong and Namdaemun Markets. Also, it is literally across from a station. You can even see the Namsan Tower if you walk out slightly! With its amazing location, rooms and service, I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! My husband even said that he enjoyed it so much and will probably not experience another hotel as great as this.

This is a charming French style boutique hotel in excellent location. The staff are wonderful and the food is gourmet. They have 2 restaurants that have earned Michelin star. There are plenty of authentic, local restaurants within a minute walk from the hotel. Excellent location for shopping.

Hotel L’Escape is a romantic and classy hotel. The air is permeated with fresh flowers in the lobby from the moment you enter the hotel. We arrived past midnight and the staff greeted us with smiles and gave us an upgrade because it was available. Our room is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with French tapestry, lamps and paintings. The bathroom is large and had two sinks. There is a separate shower and toilet with bidet. In the main bath is a bathtub with golden knobs. The electric and lighting are controlled by a modern system that is great once you figure out what all the knobs do. It is quiet and a great location for shopping. The location is very convenient, Namdaemun market is a few minutes walking and Hoehyeon subway and buses are just a few steps away. There are so many great places to eat around the hotel. The hotel itself has two great restaurants, French and Chinese. The breakfast is top notch with French, Korean and Chinese cuisines. All are prepared at a Michelin star quality. We will stay at the Hotel L’Escape again when we go to Seoul.

Beautiful hotel and very convenient to public transport. Lots of shops and restaurant nearby, great location. If you staying only a couple of days it’s ok but if you staying longer you find that the breakfast is the same everyday. Could have something different or alternate the menu every couple of days. Lighting in room is a little dark and bathroom door or partition is a little hard to close. Beside all that, it’s still a great place to stay. Would booked again and will recommend friends as well.
